The Problem with Unrecognised Season Cards

Unless I am the odd one out its been 10 days or so since the letter and paper ticket for the Watford game was sent out by the club saying some cards needed reprinting. Its 3 weeks since the problem was revealed at the Chelsea game. Still no replacement season card! Anyone know what is going on? There must be an issue with the supplier as from my observations at the Chelsea game we must be talking about a maximum of a couple of thousand cards, half a day at most would see those produced. Supplier being difficult? City been a bit too over stroppy with the supplier? Anyone received their replacement card yet?
 
Put it this way...I think a major fuck up has occured...all the cards that were not personalised...out of the 6 of my mates 4 did not work...luckily mine did

I very much doubt the same people who did this years cards will be around next season...shoddy doesn't even cover it

Same here. I was told by the guy who scanned my card that, due to the large number of extra cards issued due to the new South Stand, the club had contracted out the printing to another company. Whether this is true or not I don't know, but it's a shambles. I still haven't got mine either.
 
I ended up with Sergioooooo on mine. I chose this, changed my mind, they emailed me to say that last season I personalised it, changed it to the one I had of Yaya scoring in the Semi (can't remember who it was against!) and I ended up with the Sergio one. It works though. Even worked at the Minihad for the Women's game last night!
 
Shouldn't take 3 weeks to sort unless we have told the supplier they wont get next seasons contract. Which would be a bit dumb before they ran the reprints.
 
I was at the ticket office on Saturday, and I was told that the replacement cards have now been printed and are currently being tested before being sent out.
 
two out of our three are ok , but the third one we have already had two duds still awaiting re print had to use paper ticket for Watford.
 
I was told by the bloke on the gate that mine hadnt worked for the Chelsea game because I hadnt activated it. I vaguely recollect when I renewed it online a message coming up on screen suggesting that it needed activating (or some such term) but then disappeared before I could do anything.
 
Same here, neither of my 2 cards work.
I wouldn't mind if the Club kept us informed as to what, if anything, is being done, but, no, zilch info.
No apologies, updates, nothing.
I've received an email about the Juve home game that simply states "paper ticket, collect at ticket office"
Very poor customer relations.

Hey mate not doubting you one bit but I`ve never heard of activating cards before.How strange.
 
Mine doesn't work and the lady behind me said to move the card around and tap it repeatedly. I gave up and used the posted paper ticket instead.

Mine came in the box heavily warped and it's a shame because I got it personalised too. Also, my photo didn't bleed to the edge as one edge had a visible white border
 
Only starting to send out Cityzen cards today, a month after the season started. Got an email off the club a week or so back, saying that if I haven't received my card by SEPTEMBER 21st (!), to get in touch with them. Ridiculous. "Cups for cock ups" is alive and well.

Sorry, but the rags have held that for the past 2 seasons.

I did mention, very politely, to the bloke that let me in that I'd never had to do that before and he became very shirty, told me I needed to the ring the club or I wouldnt be able to get in to future games. I received the e-mail about the watford paper ticket before I had chance to do that.
 
At Chelsea game we were in the Star Bar and decided to go into the stadium earlier than usual as the queues for the bar became so long. Everyone but me got in and it took 45 minutes of the stewards farting about before someone decided to let us in (me and about 50 East Stand blues by this time)....after the kickoff too, and missing the new stand ticker tape etc.

Wonder if I'll get the missing Cityzen points too :)
