Hilarious isn't it,incompetent doesn't cover itWhat I just heard on Talk Sport (we get it in the afternoons over here on satellite radio) was that the offer from the rags is a 5 year deal with a £200K per week salary with the entire contract back dated one year so that De Gea would get about £8.4m in one lump sum payment that covers the difference between his existing contract and the new one. There would be a 50 Million Euro buyout. Essentially, the scum want to keep him but at the very worst, they want leverage in dealing with Real Madrid. This would translate into an almost £17m windfall for De Gea, which is a far cry less than what Madrid will pay to get him in January. This is only required because TT and Co. didn't take care of business.
