The guy has a point. This place in general is not very welcoming at all to any fans of other clubs, even ones that wouldn't be considered rival clubs. Unless they come out and actively praise City or tow the line they generally don't last long before somebody needlessly jumps on them. Even if we don't agree with them, differing opinions can be a good, even refreshing thing as long as they're not actively trolling.

Find this hard to accept , only go on this site because its dedicated to Gods own team . Not interested in any comments or observations from other teams supporters why should I be ?
Ban them all for me , self indulgent clowns who believe their opinion on another team has a meaning when to me it means nothing , extreme but so what ? Its a forum for Blues not any half wit with a key board without an understanding or respect for our fan base but a desire to impose unwanted opinions in what is a site not asking for them.
If you want different opinions try a site not dedicated to one football club , this is not some socialist everyone's opinion is equal crap , thats for story books.

Naa not having this... Plenty of people who have proclaimed to support clubs from all over the show have come on here and myself and many others have been sound with them.

Only fans i would pre-judge on here and dislike (even if they were to praise city) would be the Vermin and the FC'UM lot

Doubleplusuntrue.
There are threads for other clubs and there is reasonable exchange with their fans. Only despised cunts are usually fans of the scum and the candlefucks.

Ha ha - some of them take this football forum malarkey way too seriously ;)

This is how I see it. On RAWK you'll at least (sometimes) get some good and relatively balanced discussion about United. There's a lot of nonsense spouted that outweighs it of course but there's still that bit of insight to be found there. Bluemoon is just a massively unpleasant place to visit, virtually every United related post contains the word "rags" or some variation thereof and at least one other insult. I can't see why any rival fan would want to post there, it's an absolute cesspit. Makes me incredibly grateful that we have this place.
Fans in rival insult shocker..

According to the Mail, United's players are not allowed to go up for the buffet at breakfast or lunch until Van Gaal has returned from the servery hatch.

Perhaps this is his way of ensuring that Luke Shaw loses weight

You could see Wayne Rooney chucking a bread role at LVGs totem pole like head in frustration at having to wait. He'd still miss by 20 yards though.

I take your point but this is just natural progression. He arrived as a prospect and developed into a world class keeper who will be rewarded accordingly for that if he does sign.

Thing is Falcao, I slightly disagree with Kaz (sorry Kaz) as I don't believe you have ever had the morale high ground. For years, your lot have been "buying the league" spunking millions hoovering up the best players, but it somehow slipped under the media radar, probably as you were winning most things and able to generate a lot of inch columns for them (or was it the Pisscan ruling them with his draconian style). In that period, you were proudly and unashamedly taking the piss out of us as you never, ever thought anyone, let alone lickle Citeh, would knock you off the perch.

In more recent times, you have appointed the wrong managers and continued to squander hundreds of millions, fielding the most expensive team ever, but the difference now is that you have bought poorly and he results are there for everyone to see. Still, the media have given you an easy ride because they are struggling to come to terms that the shackles that Pisscan had on them have been released and they can now write more freely about the real state of Utd. It's most gratifying for all fans, but particularly City fans to see the press starting to highlight the demise of Utd in a manner that shows they no longer have any fear of what they write.

As for both sets of fans. Well, during those dark years we knew we were shite and rolled with those punches whilst still maintaining a super fan base that travelled to all corners of the UK to support our team, no matter what league we were playing in, so our success now is something we are all ecstatic about.

Your demise is something new to the majority of your fanbase and you don't know how to cope (more impressively, neither does your club!). Your default mechanism is to hit out, but, as you and many others of your fanbase fail to recognise, the bullets you are firing are the same bullets everyone else fired at you all those years ago.

My final point is that all City fans know and appreciate that we wouldn't be where we are today without Sheikh Mansour, but money aside, he is a very shrewd businessman and he ensured he recruited the best of the best to manage his investment both on and off the field. That team has used the Sheikhs money very wisely and we have now have the best squad in the country ( I would say that but would like your view on that) and a sustainable and self supporting footballing business plan going forward, so if it does give you hope that one day, he will get fed up and take his investment out, don't dwell on it too long, as we will still be dining at the top table.

Compare that to your hand to mouth owners who are milking you dry. You are debt ridden, so if one club in the NW is to fall from grace big style and "do a Leeds", it will be your lot, and don't be too upset if many bluemooners start popping the corks. However, we are classy enough as a club to not but a banner in our stadium to reflect your downfall. That's not to say we all wouldn't chip in a have a plane fly over the swamp with a "warm friendly message" from the fans.

Since the General Football Forum was created on here, it's been a more welcoming place IMO. We've got loads of fans of other clubs that post on here and myself and GDM have often bemoaned the lack of decent United posters - I've found that if you get some good posters of a particular club then the thread regarding that club tends to be quite sensible. There's not much love for Tottenham amongst most City fans but we have some good posters on here that are Spurs fans and as a result the Spurs thread, while containing the usual generic insults, has lots of constructive posts. A dearth of good United posters tends to see this thread descend into nothing more than piss-taking but is it really any surprise? Comparing Bluemoon and Rag Cafe is akin to comparing apples and oranges - there are far more local based match-going fans on here than there is on Red Cafe and naturally it will be far more partisan as a result. Go on Red Issue or Republik Of Mancunia and it will be even less welcoming than here.

He'll sign but he'll till go Madrid next summer although probably for more than 29m

Years gone by, a new contract meant something positive. Now it is the biggest indicator that a player will leave.
United bend over with a few million in Dave's sky rocket allowing them to sell him for far more than what he is currently worth.
Win-win-win for them, Dave and us Blues who can ridicule them for what is inevitable.

I was under the impression that De Gea wanted away for personal reasons, first his desire to play for Real and secondly that his wife could not settle. Looking at it logically all the money that TT throws at him will not change that. Also why would he jeapodise his move to Madrid by signing a contract which means instead of him going to where he wants for free they, Madrid, would have to pay a huge fee ,which might put them off. I think this is just paper talk.

if hes got any sense he would fuck them off, however united might say, sign the contract or you wont play, with the euros around the corner he could sign on for the year, hell earn roughly an extra 5mil for that year then get the move he wants, or he can say fuck you, ill happily sit on the bench for 5 mil a year and get a huge signing on fee next summer to Madrid, decisions decisions

Anyway, Ian Wright needs to go on the rag sycophant list.
I just read the article on the BBC website supposedly quoting Ian Wright, what a load of arse kissing bollocks, if Wright said those things he has gone right down in my opinion and has joined the rest of the so called experts spouting pro utd propaganda.

He was routinely mocked cos he was shit!

Also, is Anthony Martial a "prospect" at 36 million!!!!

Keep up, mate. He's the most world class of all the world's young world class players. Now please don't let me have to tell you this again.

As for De Gay, the rags simply have to be seen to be doing this. How he responds remains to be seen. It would take a strong-minded individual to tough it out and run down his contract. Specially when the Ministry of Truth and all its apparatchiks sharpen their nail files. He'd lose a shed load of money too, by the look of it.

Great post Mossideblue! When the rags were second to Liverpool and hadn't won the league for something like 28 years they threw millions at it buying all the best players out there. If you could compare it to today's fees i doubt they would be far off what we have spent since the takeover. This was all conveniently forgotten when they had all the youth players break through to the first team, which i grudgingly admit was some achievement. We of course had a fair few do the same for us but without the same impact although Lakey would probably have gone on to become one of the games greats.

Their fan base of a certain age are finding it hard to cope as they all jumped on the success bandwaggon and that's all they have known until now.I won't live to see it but it would be interesting to see how loyal they stayed if they suffered 35 years in the wilderness like we did.
