MCFC Ticket Prices

The big problem is City do not publish match day prices for league games "from" doesn't tell you what price it is in the stand you want to go in. Every other club does it well in advance.

How can they expect to sell memberships with secret prices?

Ticket prices have been better this season but I think they could do the odd thing a bit better. For example, West Ham don't take the top tier and all tickets up there are £30. I think the back 15 rows could have been £20 to more closely reflect the £299 ST price up there. All in all though they are heading in the right direction.

They don't seem to have much of a problem selling them.

I'm amazed how many of you pay to watch the other team. If we play Chelsea and its £50 but then play West Ham and that's £30 how much would you pay to watch City 1st 11 versus 2nd 11 ? £60 or £70 ? When we were shite in the 3rd Division I didn't read the memo that said it was gonna cost £20 versus Wigan, Fulham, Gillingham or the all conquering York fucking City. I pay to watch City no matter who we are playing, that's why I'm in all 3 Cup Schemes, you take the rough with the smooth, for every Barcelona, Bayern Munich or Juventus there is the potential of a shit team like Exeter City, Kettering Town or the Rags in the FA Cup. That's the gamble, but in my opinion it is no gamble if the mighty Blues are playing #CTID

Single game tickets are always going to be expensive when compared to a £299 season ticket, I paid £50 for Hull last season. Already this season it seems a big improvement. I think they are keen to ensure the full house so they can press on with the development of the ground! A smart move over milking the fans for every last penny they can.

Ha Ha why twist what I have said ,how do you know I don't really want to go & am trotting out excuses ,I am merely pointing out that many fans now chose to watch the game in the pubs & those fans should be encouraged with discounted offers to return .tomorrow night is a great example of how City get it right a lot of the time .at least we agree about the membership card lol

I really dont get your argument.
You can get a Value seasoncard at £299 but choose not to. That lets you watch a game for £15.74 a time!
You can get any seasoncard and pay over 10 months but you choose not to.
Yet you would rather spend money on a few pints and a meal down the pub? That could be your monthly payment to watch a couple of home games that month when paying monthly.

IF we can afford a night out then we have one (generally on pay-day weekend) but I would rather watch the Blues playing live than on the box. I suppose its all about priorities and I think that you should own up to exactly what your priorities are.

Her wants to be seen as a "massive Blue". ;)

300 pounds for a season ticket is an absolute steal. I'm a student and I get double that every month just for attending university since I was 18

If only I lived a few hundred miles closer to the ground

As has n even said it's thirty quid for WHU. Yet you trotted out the "that's not many seats" and "it's an evening kick off". Look if you don't want to go then don't go, end of. Instead complaining about something that isn't as you describe it.

Tomorrow night the current champions of Italy are playing the second placed team of England. You can get tickets for £30 and under 16s for a fiver. Yet last week Crewe were charging £22.50 for a League Two game.
Get a sense of perspective and just accept you don't really want to go and it's a convenient excuse that City are overcharging, or the kick off times are all wrong.
However I agree that a membership card to buy tickets is ludicrous, however I think it's done to stop away fans from getting tickets in the home end.

Exactly this!

That's the beauty of football you might get a terrible game of football v barca for £60 and the best game you've ever seen v Crewe for £20 never understood why playing a so called better team should make for a better game.

Surely people are not winging? £30 v Juventus and £35 v West Ham. Great value.

No-one is winging but thousands voted with there feet & didn't turn up .there will be l oads of empty seats again against west .but plenty of lads will be in town watching it in the pubs

Ok my priorities are I no longer live in England when I did I had a season ticket for 38years my lads still have season tickets .the last few visits I have stayed in various lounges in the ground , 2 stays in the lounge could of paid for a season ticket .my argument is valid to nights game was not sold out ,west ham will not be sold out ,ask your self why not ? don't blame me for asking the question
