The winning goal was a huge stroke of luck followed by an absolute world class finish. Not bothered.

Anyone wonder why we've lost a majority of our home CL matches?

Here's an experiment: Watch Malaga vs. Dortmund in Germany, then watch tonight's match. Pay special attention to the crowds. One set of supporters are doing whatever they can to back their team, the other set are afraid to upset the librarian. I've never heard 54,000 people gather together and make almost no noise whatsoever.

It's no more a home match for our squad than when we go to the away matches. If you aren't hoarse after that match, you failed your team.

Also please for the love of God when we begin to look flacid, slow, predictable, don't persist with Nasri-Silva-Yaya combo, please!!!

I agree with the comments about Fern.....he was clearly the best player on the pitch tonight! Great to see.....sadly the rest of the team let him down....Silva had a poor game and Bony and Nasri continue to slow the play down when we needed to move the ball faster...Think I would have got De Bruyne on earlier....Cant really blame Pelle for tonight....the players let themselves down....Just hoping Kompany's injury isnt bad as he having a great start to the season.....

Just another typical champs league performance. We'll probably qualify in second place, but by the skin of our teeth.

All of our forward players were poor. It's a shame because I thought the rest of the side played well (especially both full backs and both centre mids), hence us dominating

I thought we played reasonably well until they scored.

At this level you have to take your chances. We didn't, they did.

Buffon played well but sterling has to score one of those.

Fernandinho doing a 2 man job yet again. I thought he was outstanding tonight, just had no help what so ever. Sagna had another good game aswell. Same shit different year.

To be honest we didn't look on our game from the beginning. I have never seen us misplace so many passes in a game, and the movement both on and off the ball lacked energy and vitality. It was almost like we froze (again) on the big stage.

I have to say that Bony is nowhere good enough for the standard we require. He looks ponderous and simply not good enough.

The one player that shone for me was Fernandinho. He looked so much better than anyone of our other players.

We move on, but this is a bitter pill to swallow. They were there for the taking and we simply fluffed our lines.

Its typical City as usual in champions league. We should of done more when 1-0 up the missed chances is were we fucked up. They took there chances. Kompany going off didnt help us but we should of seen it out. Our tatics were wrong. Playing Nasri was the wrong call look at us in the league with our 2 wingers playing and were causing a lot of problems for teams. Bony is in need of a goal. As is Sterling his miss was poor. He will come good. I think this is a wake up call for us in the champions league we will need to get a positive result in Germany next time out. I think with Kun fully fit and KDB in the team and we will be good enough to get out of this group.
Tatics will be key but I hope MP uses the tatics from our league games and bring it into our Champions League games. IF we fail to get out of the group there will be pressure back on MP I hope the players show they want it before its too late. Might well see 1 or 2 changes in the coming games and more of a battle for places to come. Keep the heads up we will be good.

I am going to go against the majority.....

I thought we played well against last years finalists of this comp. And that without either Aguero or a fit silva ( arguably our 2 most influential players ). Added to which we lost or captain and defensive organiser during the game.

It is good to be tested in sport.....not just win win win....

I actually enjoyed that we came up against a team that provided some questions for us....sure I would have loved us to answer them with 4 goals, but today we didn't - that's sport.

Dust ourselves down, analyse how we can improve...move on.

Frustrated - yes. Too slow in attack - Sterling should have scored -2 mins. Nasri slowed the play down. We can moan all we like but they are experienced in CL.
Their defence was fast into the tackle . Closed us down on the wings.Their second goal was an absolute beauty - but where was out 2 central defenders.
Juve certainly did not deserve to lose - they were more street savvy.
Seville will spank us at their place. We need to finish second in this group to progress. So City please correct all the faults.
