£49 is still a ridiculous price for a game of football mate, regardless of what last season cost.
Imagine how much for a family of four inc. two kids, you are talking £150 before transport, food and drink, that's just not possible for a huge number of people.

Especially when it is £79 if you have to buy the membership. You can't disregard the membership price any more than you can add it to the price of one ticket like I have.
 
I'm sorry for £30 a ticket is a joke. I think football tickets should be at most £30!!! Not at least... seriously the prices are harming who goes to games. Not everyone can shell out 19 lost of £30, then 3+ lots of cup games...

Germany, SPain etc have fantastic ticket prices and their football attracts less sponsorship money!!!
 
Slight off the prices (think they're reasonable), but I'm furious with the club re: Family Stand. Wanted to buy a season ticket for my daughter (with me and my son) and asked if the seat was free next to me?
Was told no, but now it's clearly just being sold match to match.

It might be harming some, but they are attracting 52000 City fans a match ,who are prepared to pay the going rate.
And whilst that is happening, they will not be dropping the prices.
How can £30 be a joke, have you ever been to a pop concert, look at those prices
It costs a lot of money to put on a event,1 steward must cost £30 for their shift.
We have some of the lowest prices in the game, season tickets at £299 for adults, £15 a game.
Get in the real world, City is a business not a charity

How do you know this after three games mate? When did you ask? If the seat had been sold for the first game they would not move anyone. I have a season ticket and was on holiday for the first two games and yesterday was my first game after Juve. I know, I'm a jinx! It may also be a season ticket holder who has bought to sell game by game on the Facebook site that City seem reluctant to do anything about. If the seat was available I'm sure they would have told it you. Perhaps you could ask if it would be available pro rata later in the season if it turns out it's no a SC.

As for the OP Newcastle seats available for £36 but I guess you could get 7 pints for that and watch it in town. If it was £30 then about 6 pints so, would one less beer might be the deal breaker? If people want to watch in town that is their choice. They basically want to spend money on beer rather than football. As I said they make a choice and that's fine, no issues with it as they have disposable income they can spend however they like. I quite like watching some away games in the pub with my mates but home games I support my team. That's the difference between a supporter and a follower.
 
How do they work out upgrades?
My lads 16-17yo season ticket is £720.....£38 per game.
My adult season ticket is £1150.......£60.50 per game.
I upgraded my lads for yesterday's game and thought it would be £22.50,which would take it up to the price of my ticket £60.50.
It cost £42.27....point being,I already paid £38 for it,add to it the £42.27,makes £80.27 which is dearer than my ticket..doesn't make sense.

Not sure if many on here will know, but, did you ask the ticket office? Just a hunch that someone there might know..?

It is the difference between the match day adult price and the pro-rata ticket cost (either /19 or /22 if 'premium')

Match Day price in 93:20 was £75 -(£720/22)= £42.27.

All 50 quid tickets will do is attract the middle classes who have no real affinity to the game, hence utter shite atmospheres.
 
Off topic but does anyone know what happens with the ticket exchange? I put my ticket on for the West Ham game but it didnt sell, just wondering if City will be charging £40 or whatever the going rate is, whilst giving me half of that (1/19th of my ST price)

Well I personally think prices have got ridiculous, and taking the kids puts it over the 100 quid mark. Worth it every once in a while, not every other week though.
