Sadly we have our share of thick, drunken, aggressive, racist idiots. But enough about the Mod Forum...
Lol.From the comments section - I've no issue with the first couple of sentences but as it continues it just sounds like a general hatred of football fans:
"If this is true then these vile scum should be hunted down, publicly shamed and brought to justice. It amazes me how a minority of football fans,,grown men,,yes grown men can act in such a bullying and moronic fashion. I saw it last Saturday on Deansgate. Grown men in their 30s and 40s marauding and chanting.. I assume their wives dont let them play out much.
I hope this family can put this trauma behind them and write it down to drunkeness and ignorance..well done to all the cowards and fellow football fans who stood by and allowed this to happen."
Lol.
Yeah, let's sweep it under the carpet just because the accusation is against City fans. If it was Rags being accused then everybody would be lapping it up saying what a horrible bunch they are.Manchester evening news equals shit stirring rag paper
Where's the evidence ?
A large number of city fans were singing 'you're just a shit Sun Jihai' to Park at Old Trafford not so long ago
I revert back to my original post
It is stories like this that shows how difficult the fight against racism is. Incidents like this can happen in any walk of life and when you see that fans of our own club are involved it saddens the most hardcore of fans. City have always been and will always be a multi cultural club where everyone is treated equally and all the fans I have met over the past 30 years welcome that.
The story has so many holes in it
“The carriage was full of Manchester City fans who were drunk" so basically all of the other 46 passengers in that carriage were all MCFC fans and everyone of those 46 were drunk.
“We were sat on the outside of [the boys], we feel like we have to shield them.” really or was it more the fact as all kids do they wanted a window seat and it is easier to look after them by the window.
Oh and that is one fucking strange family picture. Put it this way I wouldn't have them 2 baby sitting my kids.
Some fuckers have forgotten the thread about the Chelsea fans in Paris,Selected memories mate.My how we slagged them off.Double standards ? If proven, that this offence did take place then our Club should do likewise and follow Chelseas ban.Yeah, let's sweep it under the carpet just because the accusation is against City fans. Racism, bullying and intimidation is wrong any time, anyplace, by anyone, against anyone, in any context.
It's just plain wrong.
Maybe because they want City fans to come forward and not be intimidated as they may have been.I'm suspicious about why the family of the alleged victims have already gone to the press. I understand an appeal for witnesses or further information but this stuff is usually kept quiet.
Bluemoon is huge. Everyone knows a Bluemooner but we've nobody who was on the same train?

Spot on.Some fuckers have forgotten the thread about the Chelsea fans in Paris,Selected memories mate.My how we slagged them off.Double standards ? If proven, that this offence did take place then our Club should do likewise and follow Chelseas ban.
That's actually very true, heard more than a fair share of anti Irish stuff over the years but then we do have the Rangers/loyalist element within our support with their far right bullshit. They probably though it was "banter" and think it is acceptable.
A large number of city fans were singing 'you're just a shit Sun Jihai' to Park at Old Trafford not so long ago, and you here the odd person shouting Gypo to Irish players, I even heard Given get called an Irish Bastard repeatedly by a City away at Bolton for skewing a goal kick.
It seems like racism aimed at black people is seen as unacceptable at the football, but 'banter' regarding other races and nationalities it though of as okay by some.

If the reports are true and you were there, would you have filmed a carriage full of drunk and racially abusive football fans for evidential purposes?Football fans being racist and abusive and no one filmed it?
