Club Badge (merged)

I'm fearful of what will be the final approved badge, judging from some suggestions in social media. my vote is for GeekinGav's entries. Simple and retains its vintage charm. There are others that look really sleek, futuristic and MLS/ NASA inspired which are quite impressive, but I like a piece of memory to go with the badge.

Fearful because I am constantly reminded of how abstract an approved design can be whenever I see the Cityzens logo.

That's lovely.

parts of south Manchester were Cheshire, the original area was all Lancashire it's when Manchester expanded that it brought in area's of Cheshire, however to be pedantic Manchester City have always come from the Lancastrian part.

it all goes back to when Greater Manchester was created into a county ... the lancashire rose on the badge was actually right for about 2 years until it changed to Greater Manchester i think.

there are a lot of mine circulating on Twitter ...some of the modern vintage look and a few extreme ones ... dont think there will ever be one that everyone likes to be honest

You have to look at it in context to some extent; the world was a much less sophisticated place more generally 35 years ago, but even so the club was ran so, so badly. It was like some bad farce playing out in front of your eyes.

haha just watched when they recruited John Bond and swales just sat there hand on his chin tapping the table asking what do people think

Swales' time at City would make a brilliant comedy film. Not sure who'd play Swales. Maybe that is the role that could finally get the Alan Partridge monkey off Steve Coogan's back.

Don't want the old badge, it's just dull. The new one (!) is fine by me, but if we decide to change I'd rather something along the lines of the NYCFC one.
