I've got the eagle tattoo as you say it's part of our history, more than happy if we get a new badge though

I hope we see a couple of fancy dress eagles on boxing day games. My favourite so far is 'scooby doo is a blue'.

@Ric following on from the chat about a vote the other week, I think it's now possible to create a shortlist. Not everyone will have their first choice included, but I've tried to select 5 that represent the views of the majority of posters on here.

We know it's going to be round, so I've included 5 round badges, 2 with eagles, 2 with three river shields, and one with a rose.

Everyone has their own ideas on trim and colour scheme, as reflected in Gav's post last week that had 30 different designs on. Perhaps everyone's first choice is not one of these options, but I hope there is enough variety that people can vote on the core design they like best, even if they would make alterations in a perfect world.

When exactly did sample D aquire a blue (shorts) outer chapter and the three stars, it's almost like someone's photoshopped the original example put-up on this forum to look it's most unappealing and not gotten round to photoshopping blue shorts onto any shield types....for some reason or another...clever stuff.

Would it not be possible to launch the three stars out of sample D if they didn't start life inside of the design and implant them plum in the middle of any examples depicting a shield...i'm sure it wont make any difference if it's good enough for D....

A for me regarding the designs

I like C but feel A pops out more with a little colour
