Norwich post match thread

Phew..... I thought we'd stopped being wasteful with chances but can't score 5 or 6 every week I guess. Otamendi MOTM 2 weeks running? Quality from him but shows the players in the attacking areas aren't quite up to it at the moment.

Lucky, Unlucky, Shite, Weird, just about sums it up. Glad the game wasn't decided with Hart's error, made up for it with that top save at the end.

Standard, professional win..

Haha, total mess, but 3 points - not sure that would have happened last season.

Not a good performance all around, lacked any tempo, but got the win, scruffy, stuff of Champions as the cliche goes. Saying that they hardly had a sniff, bar Joe's howler. A few looked tired, most of all KDB who despite his assist from the corner had a poor game.

Yaya MOTM for me, controlled the game, hardly misplaced a pass all game.

Hart - 3
Sagna - 6
Kompany - 8
Otamendi -10
Kolarov - 4
Fernandinho - 6
Yaya - 6
De Bruyne - 5
Navas - 7
Iheanacho - 6
Bony - 5

Convinced Bony was in on a fix, criminal "finishing" and decision making.

Sterling has to take that second penalty, if not for winning it but also Bony fucking him over 2 minutes earlier. Kolarov, set piece specialist my arse.

If we play like that against Sevilla, they will beat us and will make make fun of us.

I love yaya, but damnit don't whine like a little twat when there are 2.5 mins left in stoppage time and your defense needs to be solidified. Don't curse the coach the whole walk off the field. Makes me sick.

On the ball Urgency not there of the ball not working hard enough bony as the main striker should of at least scored A goal but we got the 3 points that's all that matters so happy

A very awkward game. Could have been a typical City moment and game if we did not win as we were in control but very very wasteful in front of goal. The mistake from Hart was just strange, inexplicable, don't even know how to describe or qualify that moment but hopefully we got the second goal and the win, which is the most important thing. Three points, forget how it came about and move on.Sterling should have taken that penalty at the end though but it was inconsequential at the end of the day.

Otamendi was dominant today, definitely man of the match, settled in now and looks world class. Bony will get a lot of criticism and after that debacle at the end there where he should have passed it to Sterling (or Yaya) to give us peace of mind, I reckon a bit of criticism is justified. He needs to start taking those chances. Yaya was also dominant today and played very well.

Three points. Job done.
