Attacks in Paris

My point is that this is in conjunction with cutting Police numbers. There are 31k met officers - today the Chief Constable of the met said he could not afford to go below 30k officers and be expected to Police the streets. Osbourne is cutting their funding by circa 20% and the Govt holds up their great response as cyber spooks over 5 years.

Personally I am not planning on visiting London any time soon - but you never know- however if the first responsibility of a government is to protect the citizens they govern then this response and the allied crusade to cut costs and risk security then sorry but this lot are a danger to us all.

They described Vladimir Putin on ITV news as "The rejuvinated Vladimir Putin" I don't understand has he gone to rehab?

He must be pissing himself as countries all around have been calling him a warmonger, now there is actually a war on our hands people are calling on Putin to save us all!

Agenda much? On a thread that has mourned the Paris attacks, debated foreign policy, various political actions, the difference between ISIS and other historic terror threats and the impact of religion, you have continuously banged this single drum. Bore off - no one is biting - except cleaver and he has got bored of schooling you.

He is such a war monger we want to join in !! What did he say " come on in Dave the war is lovely? " Thing is Putin is an old stager he will know how to exploit the situation because he knows we will need him - he will also know he will go back to being our "enemy" once it suits us so we are going to have to be prepared to be used by him to some degree - could be large orders of humble pie all round.

Not wumming mate I am asking a genuine question. I shan't be happy if proved right but I fear I will be one night in London soon.
 
You can almost guarantee Putin is using this as a tool to allow him to go wipe out some chechen rebels without the west being able to say to much.
Fair play to him we try to shove him about so he plays the game back, nowt wrong with that.

I agree, it's likely that London will be targeted and that they'll eventually succeed. However, those 'cyber spooks' will have prevented many attacks already and are the right force to strengthen IMO.

Fuck your bombing, it shows to me a lack of conviction making the french leader look petty and reactionary. When clear positions are not established civilians die.

some of them will be writing advanced software to image recognition and data mining to identify threats, others will be writing software to protect against viruses which can be far more dangerous than most people think, for example this one.

Probably written by the USA, it's specifically designed to take out Iranian plutonium centrifuges. This level of virus could be used to cause a meltdown or some such event,

Easier targets maybe something like changing every traffic light in the country to green, or disabling security doors and cameras etc etc.

This is exactly how I feel mate, going in there all bombs blazing is only going to cause yet more civilian casualties.
