what the fuck have we got to do with oasis?
oh, hold on...

i wouldn't have any problem with the rousing part of this song being played over the tannoy before the second half kicks off, rather than the fucking beatles.

Ha ha, the 'fucking' Beatles, as though they were shit! Wonderwall is a snoozefest from a bunch of Beatles copycats, and yet you'd rather have that played. Incredible. And we've already got one piss awful dirge in the form of Blue Moon.....

i'm not dissing our chant, na na naaa,
i'm asking why we have to listen to the original song that we took the chant from before the second half kicks off?
90% of the time no fucker joins in, so it is just the original song, which goes on about jude, not city.

when did i say the beatles were shit?
they were great, like 50years ago or summat,
but what has the original sad beatles song got to do with us kicking off?

yes, i'd rather have a city-related song, even though i think oasis are shit.

Paul McCartney was so impressed with us winning the title in May 1968 he immediately became a huge City fan and penned a song as a tribute to our legendary manager, Joe Mercer, which he wanted to call "Hey Joe" only to find that the Jimi Hendrix Experience had recently had a big hit with a different song of the same name. Macca therefore changed the title to "Hey Jude" and on the day City beat WBA 6-1 in the Charity Shield he presented Albert Alexander and the board with a gold disc for the song which was at No.1 in the UK and US charts that very week.

I suppose the club are trying to get us lazy cunts to sing

You could also ask what connection have we with Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart.

and what the fuck have we got to with jimmie davis?

(although it is said that davis thieved it off of a scouser, called paul rice)

"Glad All Over" by Dave Clarke Five is played at Crystal Palace....Great song but Dave Clarke is a massive Tottenham supporter, what does it matter where the song comes from ?
anything's better than "We are not, We're not really here"
