Chinese Consortium invests $400m in CFG

Don't get me wrong, I hate the thick, shallow arrogant cunts and I've got plenty of memories of the empty-headed pricks sneering at us. But I think we play into their hands a bit at times sometimes, that's all.

Anyway, back to the discussion. World domination is inevitable. We are owned by the richest country in the world with assistance from the fast growing economy in the world.

Nice.
We aren't Qatari owned.

When should we expect to see the benefits of this deal materialise. Will it be months / years?.
It is great vision from the sheik. We truly are a very lucky club to have him in charge.

So, having not read the thread, has any of the following been mentioned by Talkshite, Sly Sports or the Mirror/Mail:

1. More investment from a country with dodgy human rights record?
2. You still can't buy history?
3. Sheikh Mansour bored with Man City and sells up ready for heavy investment in Man Utd, which was his stated long term goal, opening up the floodgates for Guardiola in the summer and Messi, Ronaldo and Bale to join in January?
4. Shameful Man City sell out to highest bidder bringing into question any integrity/honour/pride left in a club happy to sell it's soul?

Etc, etc, etc.........

One good thing from this deal is that the new investors also have the rights to the PL in China. Guess who's gonna be getting a lot more coverage and promotion in the coming years. But this is also obviously a precursor to an investment in or formation of a Chinese team.

I'm sure the Sheikh will follow the Rag's lead, and take most of the money out for himself to pay off some dodgy loans........

So Sheikh Mansour started with 90% 2008 and no one got their knickers in a twist but now that he "only" controls 87% some people are worried..?
What problems we got..lol

Am I right in thinking that 'Call me Dave' can take a lot of credit for this? Fair play to the Conservative lad, he's played a blinder for us......

I'm eagerly awaiting the story that "The Chinese thought they were investing in Manchester United" and are "disgusted that they have been misled"

Probably in the Mirror.

I particularly like how this news slipped out from left field, and its taken all day for the media to absorb it, and now the penny is beginning to drop just how "massive" this deal might actually be.

Well done CFG, keep it up.
This!

We're going to need a bigger stadium....

Incidentally this deal values MCFC at approx £2,000m OR £1,805m more than Sheikh Mansour paid for it and £1,300m more than he has invested in the club.
Who says it wasn't a great business opportunity for him?
