If you don't have him as one of the top five City players of all time then you have no idea. Quality.
Unfortunately mate plenty have absolutely no idea. Whatsoever.

Have a look at the goal. The striker of the ball was not closed downHe was dropping deep to get the ball because the centre backs aren't good enough to play it out.
He was quality tonight.
If youre putting blame on him for their goal then you're really pushing it that's for sure.
Not like you understand that position...Fernando motm vs Barca etc.
He was. Sadly players don't last forever. They all have their day. Hopefully Yaya will get a 2nd wind, but I can't see it, and I didn't see it tonight despite an outstanding team performance in the 2nd half (aided by a pathetic 2nd half from the German team)Unfortunately mate plenty have absolutely no idea. Look at Otamendi for that goal instead. He stepped out but ended up in no man's land with 2 players running past him either sideHe sprayed the ball well from side to side and tried a couple of forward runs. he was playing very very deep, practically a centre back at times and I felt he was very uneffectual. have a look at their 1st goal as well.
He had a couple of old school moments tonight where he burst through a couple of challenges and found himself running down their throats. It was great to see him doing that again. Overall he had a decent game but there were other aspects that he was found wanting - especially in the first half. The Gladbach fans on the row behind me tapped me on the shoulder and said "Yaya...wow!" "Very nice player!"
I will. And you have a look at Toure. he leaves the goalscorer. He's nowhere near him when he strikes itLook at Otamendi for that goal instead. He stepped out but ended up in no man's land with 2 players running past him either side
You are just embarrassing yourself now. Go to bed mate.Have a look at the goal. The striker of the ball was not closed down
I thought he struggled tonight. He used the ball reasonably well but he was largely just collecting it off the defenders. A passenger I felt
"The passenger" completed 8/8 take ons. He was brilliant today.Have a look at the goal. The striker of the ball was not closed down

Daft post of the night. Disastrous? Really? Give your head a wobble!Don't let the last 10 minutes gloss over what was a very poor performance, against a bang average (albeit in good form) German side. Yaya offered absolutely no protection in terms of positioning, meaning Otamendi and Mangala were constantly having to step out into midfield and take risks. Just watch how many times the two centre backs have to step up, leaving acres of space in behind them because Yaya isn't prepared to cut off the pass into strikers feet. Fernandinho and Delph were left in no man's land because they went out to close players in wide areas and Yaya didn't come across with them, to the point they had to stay more central which left Clichy and Kolarov isolated and outnumbered in wide areas. Disastrous to play Yaya in that role from a defensive point of view.

My MOTM tonight.
He is so influential to the team when he is in form like that.
