They need to start as the new manager will be watching and expecting every player to work hard and do their bit.
Interesting line-up and I'm intrigued to see how it will work. Surprised Aguero is starting. I thought he'd be on the bench and that we might go without a recognised striker.

Perhaps a bit lacking in natural width as Silva and KDB tend to drift infield. We have looked more balanced generally with Navas and Sterling wide and they do tend to provide a bit more support for Sagna and Kolarov.

Anyway let's hope Pellegrini's got it right and that we can come away with 3 points.
silva is in the middle. Delph a little to the left for defensive help. I'd have preferred him in the middle next to Dihno with Yaya seating lazily behind them :)

..

To take off my Arsenal rose tinted specs for a min, Ozil needs to do it season in season out to be compared to Silva..

Hope its a great game, wont be coming back win or lose, prob be in A&E after the fifth heart attack
lol enjoy the game mate good luck for the rest of the season (as long as you finish runners up)

If it's played as a midfield 3 then Pellegrini is spot on with that imo. It's upto the players to turn up. And we have great options from the bench.

If Aguero is half fit though, we need to get him off the pitch. Presumably he has proved himself after a decent recuperation period & is ready to tear their big buffoon cb a new arsehole.

Really hope Delph isn't playing left wing. Sure he will be left centre of a 3 but you never know with Pelle's tactics.

Arsenal: Cech, Bellerin, Mertesacker(c), Koscielny, Monreal, Flamini, Ramsey, Walcott, Ozil, Campbell, Giroud.
Subs: Ospina, Chambers, Gabriel, Gibbs, Reine-Adelaide, Iwobi, Oxlade-Chamberlain.

MCFC:
Hart, Sagna, Otamendi, Mangala, Kolarov, Yaya Toure(c), Fernandinho, Delph, De Bruyne, Silva, Aguero.
Subs: Caballero, Demichelis, Clichy, Navas, Sterling, Iheanacho, Bony.

Comfortable 3 points.
In Kompanys absence this folks is as good as it gets.... Delph will add more bite to the midfield as opposed to Sterling and definitely Navas. What will it be? 4-2-1-2-1?

Sagna, Otamendi, Mangala, Clichy

Delph, Fernandino

Yaya

De Bruyne Silva

Aguero...

Also I wonder why Demichelis is so under performing? With his age, experience and knowledge I would have thought he should have been a shoe in... That said he just hasn't cut the mustard this season. May be a good third centre back for the last ten minutes if we're hanging in there for a point or with any luck to a slender lead.... Good luck you blues!
