You've joined the party a little late.

as you said, there's more to life than football.

Don't get me started on those cunts

They're great fun at the moment. Walked into the pub last night and there was a room full of slapped arses snarling at me, the chirpy, blue bastard, who'd just breezed in.

No words, just dark mutterings amongst themselves and furtive glances from under their eyebrows.

I had a loud chat with a pal, a loud Leeds fan, about how relegation builds character amongst a fan base.
They muttered grimly.

We spoke about what a great asset Klopp is going to be for Liverpool and how he's going to lead them back to the big time (neither of us believe that, incidentally).
They grumbled sourly.

We predicted a two way race between City and Arsenal for the league and reckoned that Spurs nailed on for top four. We couldn't look beyond one of Leicester or Palace for the fourth spot. "I wouldn't rule out Chelsea making a late run" a passing Evertonian suggested from down the bar.
Finally, one of them popped.

We're all only cunts, apparently and sure, what would we know about it anyway? We'll never know what it's like to support a truly great club like Yoonited.

It was beautiful.
The sad fucker was playing a blinder until he only went and kissed 'the badge' on his t-shirt.
Then he remembered that he was wearing a Ramones t-shirt. After everybody had finished laughing their cock off at him, I challenged him to name any Ramones song. He couldn't. He just liked the t-shirt, you see.

I think you are all missing the bigger picture. LVG will go and Bryan Riggs will step into his shoes, but, and this is where you are missing the bigger picture, GiggsyWiggsy is just keeping the seat warm until Fellani gets his coaching badges.

I know I fell off my seat laughing as I typed that.

Why would we ruin a player for whom we payed $40-50 million?
His skill sets don't match what is required in modern day attackers.
Those days of being a great assister and nothing else are over.
Really don't know the answer to that but u managed to do it with a £60M player....

He never wanted to come in the first place.
That was a poor due-diligence by those involved in the transfer.
If his mentality isn't good, it doesn't matter how talented he is.

He's in the form he showed in Madrid

Comparing form in the EPL for Arsenal and the Primera for Real is not accurate.
At Madrid the gap between Madrid's team and their opponents (except Barca and Atl Madrid) was huge ... moreso between Madrid's attackers and opposing defenders.
I'm sure it is easier to assist CR7, Di Maria, Benzema and Higuain rather than what Arsenal currently have.
In the big games for Madrid (Barca/Bayern/Dortmund/Atl Madrid), Ozil was criticized for being one-paced and an underperformer.

Again, I'm not saying he isn't a good player, its just that I don't believe that his current form is his actual level.
He is playing well but I think his real level is a step below.

thought you'd left your own party there for a while.

nethen,
your profile page <i know, i know - stalker alert!> says you were born on st valentine's day 1988.
how remarkable that google tells us that that is, in fact, also the very date that angel di ratface was born on.

something tells me you are not being truthful.

You said there's no place for just an attacking player. Ozil is showing that's not exactly true.

Agreed. Which is why a thorough due diligence must be done on the next appointment.
The next appointment will be the tipping point where we will either become title challengers or fighting alongside Pool, Tottenham for 4th palce.
We need a proper DOF to maintain continuity and an innovative coach to implement ideas consistent with the long term strategy.

There's the answer to one of your many problems, 60M no due-diligence, very naughty
