Edwoodwoodwood is fucking dogshit isn't he? I do wonder if he just cuts footballers names out of the newspaper puts them in a paper bag and pulls them out at random and they become the rags new transfer target. As long as he is doing the buying for the Glazers we Blues are laughing and whoever they want to manage them will have to make compromise after compromise.

Spot on. He really is dogshit. Thank fuck for him. He's far more responsible for their predicament than LVG.

It's just dawning on them how far they've fallen. They're where we were in 2008-9, paying huge fees/salaries for mediocre talent because they can't draw like the big clubs. Woodie doesn't seem to know how hard it is to get those contracts off the books.

He can sign all the sponsorship deals he wants, so long as he keeps spending the money on garbage it won't matter. If we sign Isco and Sane it will just symbolize how our fortunes have so spectacularly reversed in such a small period of time.
 
I really now think it is not Woodward's fault. It seems to me he was hired with the main focus on off field activity.
This is a reasonable assumption considering his background. He is however as stated "dogshit" regarding the area where the main focus should be.
It feels like he is stoking the engines of a sinking ship instead of plugging the holes.

I honestly think is Crocky was still around he could be persuaded to pay more than Hughes had us fleeced by he is that fucking clueless. There must be another ageing German he can be goaded into paying top dollar for - maybe this is the window ( albeit about 5 windows too late for them ) that they finally get to spunk all their cash on Sneijder !!

Yeah, it's not really his fault if the Glazers told him to start buying players. Dude is basically a marketing guy playing FM. They have no more football knowledge than he does, so it's the blind leading the blind at the swamp. Their NFL team has been mostly shit, 4 winning seasons in the last 12 years.
