If he is as good as some on here say he is why would Real accept a reported fee of £30-35m? Surely they would value him much higher.

I'm thinking bigger picture than right at this moment. I would think there will be a large turnover of players in the summer and this is the kind of player like I mentioned that would fit a PG system perfectly. I can see a number of midfielders (Yaya, Nasri, Navas?) being shipped out and sooner rather than later we need to start thinking about lowering the average age of the squad. Some of the older lads wouldnt last 5 minutes pressing the way Guardiola will want them to.

^All predicated on Pep actually showing up of course.

If pep is coming then he would be great , playing the iniesta role in a 433 , but we already have three players already who fit the bill in de bruyne , nasri and silva

What we don't have is a Xavi type player , Yaya could play this role but he's not disciplined enough. Perhaps Thiago could be prised from Bayern

Did you just call Kroos physical? When they played together in central midfield, Isco was the enforcer. He's 5x more physical and aggressive than Kroos.

They might not. Although if he keeps kicking up a stink, they'll risk sabotaging their season. Apparently he made some sarcastic gesture on the bench meant to embarrass Benitez. Criticism of Benitez calls Perez into question.

If Isco really wants to move, and this isn't just about playing time, he'll escalate..

Good to hear he's on the bench

They did win the champions league tbf.
 
Everytime I see hazard or alexis sanchez, I can't help feeling how perfect they would be for our team today
Only problem was, they were available for what's in foresight small change 1-3 years before the team really, really needed them.

He will be pretty useful anyway, but we will desperately need an Isco in 2-3 years as silva ages and to add that extra (dribbling, especially, way better than most in the current squad). We can buy him today for what's a ridiculous price, or regret it later.

But why if there is a buyer... They have just seen KDB go for £56m, they paid +£60m for James... Why sell a potential superstar (according to some on here) for £30m

Why did Bayern sell Kross for €25 million?
 
If kovacic is starting ahead of isco and james then he may aswell walk out now. I'm still hoping Madrid get the result though.
