You make an offer after a meeting, and then the club speaks to manager, player, agent etc. It's a £30m deal, a player they didn't really want to sell, but who seems to be forcing a move. You'd expect them to spend their time over it, see if they can't talk him round with 29 days of the transfer window still to go.

I would expect the club, and therefore any ITKs would frequently have periods when they hear nothing in these sorts of deals - especialy at a club like Madrid where Perez runs everything so he can't spend his entire day on Isco's transfer.

I don't think Florentino can sack another manager. that would be 2 of the best known coaches in the span of a year. It would send a terrible message.

There were talks between the two clubs. if they had any plan to sack Benitez they never would have agreed to the talks, I don't think this hinges on Isco's relationship with Benitez,
