About to start on C4+1 for anyone interested. Great documentary about a prodigious talent.

Her dad and her husband were awful people. Didn't really help matters, to put it mildly.

She was a fantastic talent let down by all those around her, but the media should take a long hard look at itself, not that it will, at they way they ridiculed and parodied her

Yeah, she became a figure of fun for the tabloids when she was clearly battling some pretty major demons. It was pretty shameful stuff.

Not just the press but a number of 'comedy' sketches on TV that were far from funny, from people who claim to be 'in touch'

Always thought her a bit of a bellend to be honest. Worth a watch then?

Yeah, it's a really good documentary regardless of whether or not you liked her. I don't think she was a bellend, just an incredibly talented girl with a lot of problems in her life. It's a pretty tragic story really.

Yes, worth a watch. Actually a tragic story of a very flawed young woman who was completely misdirected.

Edit - Lol @Ric, great minds!

She was amazing when she came on the scene.... that bast@rd blake deserves his head kicked in. She never stood a chance with her demons.... a terrible shame. makes me sad as she should be still with us. tabloids never do anyone good....

She was a cash cow for many.

That said, I didn't think much of the docu outside of the first 45 mins. There was no new information.

The director said 'it was a loving portrayal by those around her' a few months back, but really it's just about parasites sucking the life from her, including that cnut of a human, Mitch, with his fawning and crying after the money seized to be.

A singing cabbie, now?

Cnut.
