Don't know why he hasn't shown more of this since he got here. He is an accomplished long ball passer and long range shooter. I guess as he gets more comfortable, he'll show more of his talent. Really like him.
 
I think he should be in the starting eleven....a fantastic signing for just 8 million.
 
In away matches in Europe & against the top sides here, I would play Delph & both the Ferns. Delph and dinho can both get forward but also get back.
 
It's great to see him speaking to his team mates on and off the ball, he has the makings of a captain and needs to be playing every week.
 
Was literally everywhere today, mixed it up well between long range passing, short interplay, neat drag-backs, intelligent movement, and very good defending and covering. Got the all important breakthrough goal too.

One of the best individual performances this season!

He's tenacious and combined with Fernandinho he will be immense. He seems to be getting better with his passing game as well, he's always been good but he is very positive in where he looks for space all the time. He could be our Barry that we have missed since he left, smart box to box player.

Now I shouted "have a pop", and you know why ? We just don't do it enough, I'd much sooner us shoot from 35 yards when they have sight of goal, than try and walk the ball into the goal through a packed defence.

2 first half shots from outside the area and 2 goals, both lucky, but if you shoot you might get lucky, if you don't shoot luck never comes into it.
 
Clearly had a good game today.

Hasn't been fully fit since he arrived yet still folk write him off.

Give him a chance. He brings balance to the side with added energy and bite.

He can't do what Yaya can but that doesn't make him 'shite' or 'bang average'

Lets see how he gets on. I like the lad. The rest of the team swamped him when he scored.

Definitely. We regularly have twice the possession of our opponents so we should just keep peppering the goal and following in for rebounds. The rags scored so many goals by packing the box and getting lucky this way over the last 20 years.

Apparently we have scored more goals from outside the box than any other team in the league so far this season. We have enough shots but don't hit the target enough. Only 4 out of 17 shots hit the target today; thankfully they all went in.

It's on the Sky Sports site that we have the most goals from outside the box in the PL, which surprises me. We seem to have the same affliction that Arsenal suffer(ed) from, trying to walk the ball into the goal.
