Probably read it off twitter. There was something on there earlier in the week about him done his ligaments and out for the season. Assumed it was someone on the WUM

Do you have any opinion on why we get so many muscle injuries ?

It didnt seem to happen as much when Bobby M was manager ?

It didn't happens as much when Phil Batty was our club doctor, in fact the 2012 season we got through the whole season almost injury free.

I believe a row with Mancini was the cause of Batty's departure.

Hi Claytop...I agree mate....I think the rumour was started here.....I didnt post it when I first read it, as looks absolute rubbish...if you check out the twitter acount I think its someone trying to have a joke! I'm sure the club would have confirmed this by now, if it was true...

How much influence does the club doctor have in preventing injuries of the type that Delph suffered?
 
How much influence does the club doctor have in preventing injuries of the type that Delph suffered?

If we're talking muscle injuries I'd say quite a bit of influence as a lot of the time these types of injuries can be curtailed by specific dietary plans and the right type of conditioning.
