It's a rumor which comes from some random guy on French TV that nobody has heard enough about to confirm whether he's credible or not, it's not even L'Equipe themselves reporting it and even then they've been wrong about plenty of things that are not related to Ligue 1. Rumors like these were always going to pop up, the rag fans who are getting excited over this when it isn't coming from a known reliable source have nobody but themselves to blame for their dissapointment when things come crashing down in May/June.

I'm incredibly pessimistic and even I don't think this. Pep denies things that aren't true very quickly (ie. the rumours he was City bound in the summer).

Tellingly he is yet to vehemently deny coming to City is even more telling.

I don't think The Shite would be so short sighted to come and actively brief the press that they completely deny any meeting ever took place. Van Gaal has upset a lot of journalists recently and the club wouldn't want to alienate the press further.

Just finished reading Pep Guardiola (Guillem Balague) and Pep Confidential (Marti Perarnau) and the one thing that comes across is his meticulous/obsessive/fanatical attention to detail.
The chances of him leaving Bayern to manage in the Premier league without knowing where he will be managing and when he will be starting seems totally unrealistic.
It was Bayern who forced his announcement (for entirely understandable reasons).
The big surprise for me is that he is leaving Bayern when he is on the brink of something special.
We could all end up with egg on our faces but on the balance of evidence (all of it circumstantial) I think it's got to be City.
