Suppose that's fair enough but I just think it would be nuts to pass up the opportunity to sign a player of his quality who can be an attacking mid, centre mid or winger.

If Isco is available then get him asap!! A new world class signing gives everyone a lift which is what the club and fans as a whole need!

If they appeal they probably have this summer to get all the players to see them through the next two seasons, it could well be they need to sell both to get the money in to finance buying a few this summer, in positions they are weaker in.

I thought the same but apparently the reason they have completed the assessment and handed out the punishment now, is so that an appeal would be dealt with before the summer.

But do you think there are better players out there then Isco and James who are "buyable" that Madrid would be looking at?

No, but I think they need to spend in other positions, Just to throw some names in say Pogba, Stones, and De Gea and they could raise money by selling one those 2 and still have Bale, Ronaldo , Jesse I expect one of the two to be sold possibly both.

The rags are as all over him as they are Neymar and Müller.

Well I'm sure they're bullshit. James is one of Perez's poster boys, he's not going anywhere as a matter of pride/principle for Perez.

He's also a much better player than Isco, so no matter how much Zidane likes Isco, he will eventually play James.
