Sorry mate. You must have posted before I replied. I am still unconvinced about silva and KDB in the same team and would rather go with width navas and Stirling and Dave/KDB in the centre. Yaya/nasri as subs and Delph/ Fernandinho as our engine.Same answer as above
My belief is that it's a form issue than a player issue. If all are at their best, that is our best team. Zab and Kola are are width. They've been for 5 years running thats our identity.Sorry mate. Hope you are right mate. I can't wait to see who he tries at pivot. My belief is that it's a form issue than a player issue. If all are at their best, that is our best team. Zab and Kola are are width. They've been for 5 years running thats our identity.
Silva and DeBryune are cerebral creators. Aguero is Aguero. The issue is CM and how we play it. If we switch to a high pressure team, I like Delph/Dihno as the CMs. Also love Delphs movement almost as good as Nasri. But with more energy. Yaya then is limited to running the team out of the back, like he did yesterday, with the space to actually make plays.
And enough energy to chase down the Valencia of the world.
If Pep comes here, I'm almost certain barring Yaya choosing to leave, he will be our Alonzo.
I can see a central 3 of Yaya, Silva and DeBryune with Pep going out to get speedsters on the wings.Hope you are right mate. I can't wait to see who he tries at pivot.

Yay and Silva are phenomenal possession players. Pep cherishes that. DeBryune will need some work, but he is a gamer.
Therein lies the answer. There are probably some players who would start all games - Hart/Aguero as they're the best in their position, however all others should be predicated on the system for any given game, taking into account the opposition, and obviously if we're at home or away.Depends who we're playing; unfortunately we don't seem to bother with the opposition.
Maybe because the last 2 games that Toure has not started we have won 3-0 and 4-0? and the last 3 games he has started we have drew. 0-0 0-0 2-2How the fuck can anyone do an our strongest 11 without Yaya, this site is a fuckin embarrassment !
yeah i do like 4-4-2 but to do that to this 11 would have to sacrifice either de bruyne or silva for sterling or navas and stick the other one on the wing.Similar to mine. I'd love to see us play 442. We flirted with it recently but went back to the same old
I can't fault this line up.Assuming everyone is fit and in form I think this is our best line up and flexible formation.
4-4-1-1 but can easily switch to a 4-2-3-1.
Hart
Zaba, Kompnay, Otamendi, Kolarov
Navas, Toure, Fernandinho, Sterling
Silva
Aguero
