League Cup Final Ticket Allocation {merged}

Season cards get passed around live people. Tbh I hadn't really given much thought to what happens when someone dies.
My Mrs's dad has a season ticket and has done for years. He never goes and passes it on every year was the scenario I was referring to. Not the rather dark one we seem to be travelling down. Lighten up. I'm only still taking about it because of your posts.

I love a good conspiracy theory. But not on this occasion.

Since you seem knowledgeable on the subject. How does the club stop season cards which are ether child or senior citizen being used by a non qualifying adult? Genuine question no conspiracy.

I wish you luck mate.

I know I’m having a moan (what better place to do it than bluemoon) but at the end of the day at least we’re regularly in finals these days! I have an Evertonian mate in work, poor lad is absolutely gutted and he can’t confidently say they will be in that position again for a while.

Your situation Echoes mine from the last few years. Season ticket holder this year thanks to the cheaper seats in the south stand. Before that I would pretty much attend any home game in all the cups I could make. I got frustrated the season we got through the group of the champions league after watching some abysmal performances only to be unable to get a ticket vs barca. In hindsight not the worst thing but I do think it would encourage bigger attendances in early rounds of the cup if there was an incentive to non season ticket holders. A lot of fans who no longer can afford the season tickets would get a chance at being part of he great times this club is having.

In my mind the order should be season ticket holders on the cup scheme. Citizens on the cup scheme then season ticket holders not on the cup scheme.

One great thing about city is your not forced to go the cup games as a season ticket holder unlike the swamp. Some mates are season ticket holders there and they are auto enrolled onto the cups and pay through the nose for most of them games too.

Well ok i just don't get anyone who has a season ticket and barely goes, but ok. As for the dark scenario, sorry. My mum is in her 70s, always worries about the fact that when she's no longer here although my sister can have her ticket she wont get the points so i'll have no one to go with me to wembley etc as we'll be a billion points apart! :( She's in hospital at the mo.... so i guess it's on my mind.

Very sorry to hear that. A situation like that would certainly play in someone mind. Due to my circumstances I often go or sit on my own. City fans on the whole are a great bunch and I always get chatting with someone.

Thanks, i appreciate that. I'm quite a shy type, and we always make an overnight trip of it to wembley and stuff, so i think that's what she worries about me doing without if the time ever comes.. i keep telling her it'll be years away yet, we'll be bankrupt by then anyway so prob not going (!), and anyway, she's under orders to recover cos i'm booking both our wembley tickets as normal..

Every time you enter the stadium a light goes off inside on the turnstile, it's what the stewards are looking for. Concession cards come up a different colour and below the adult one. So if caught you get a 3 match ban. Not worth the risk :( You can upgrade but it's about £30 a match, and limited amounts per season, and cup scheme matches are not upgradeable (had to buy my sister a different ticket last night, tho once in she then came and sat in mums seat next to me)

Ah right thought there must be some way of doing it or else everyone would be at it!

Well I wish her a speedy recovery and you both a cracking trip to Wembley.. I'll be here. Probably still moaning, but at least enjoying the fact were in a cup final! :)

Piss poor there isn't a thread with it clearly titled and with the info on the first page of the thread to be fair.

Can someone please link me, cannot find it anywhere on here or on the official site. Been sat here like a **** all day checking every hour or so, must have missed it.

Do we think the entire city allocation will be sold to ST holders and members of the cup scheme? Or will some go on general sale at a later date?

At a guess, all season ticket holders who want one will get one but it won't go down to Cityzen members. I'd be very surprised if it went as low as 'purchase history' and it certainly won't ever be on general sale as Liverpool will sell out too. But like last time, there will be a fair number 'floating around' from people who use the season card of people not going to buy extras.
