Actually I think that's harsh on Pearce, he kept us up in the Premier League despite having no money to spend on players.

Pellegrini is easily the worst manager we've had since the Sheikh took over, even clueless had some merits about him, this guy has none.

Oh I don't know, he did fuck of Dzeko.

At the end of the day I couldn't give a fuck, felt like this for over twelve months with this fucking chancer in charge, walked out when the third went in, disinterested and boring boring shit to watch.

Roll on June

After the first five games, this has been a season of misfortune. Players have been taking turns getting injured and a player like Kompany, especially with the defenders Mangala and Otamendi struggling, is very significant indeed. So it starts with the defense. Football is about goals and if a team, regardless of how good they are going forward, have the predilection of conceding easily preventable goals, then it will be difficult for that team.

So our defenders have not performed, have been mismanaged and the injury crises over the season all adds up and it manifested today. This is reality and if this issue is not dealt with by the manager and the players then it is going to be difficult to get results against quality teams or teams with pace, spirit and hunger. We need Kompany back and Pellegrini needs to find the courage to select the correct starting line up.

On the plus side Celina looked pretty good when he came on. Would like to see him, Roberts, Garcia, Iheanacho and Roberts get to play in the F.A cup at least.
You'll struggle to see Roberts play, even naming him twice. I agree with the sentiment though.

I'm sure Roberts has gone on an 18 month loan to Celtic.

Yet again Pellegrini shows what a mediocre manager he is. He might be a nice guy but he's absolutely clueless!
He keeps doing the same thing over and over and over again.
Delph on the left because that worked well against?
Sterling in the 10 again because that worked against?
Yaya in a midfield 2 YET AGAIN!?!?
Demichelis vs Vardy? ahahaha The sane option would have been Sagna back there. As it turned out Demi was at fault in all 3 goals and let them in numerous other times

It amazes me how Pellegrini escapes criticism, nvm scathing criticism, when he has hamstrung us time and time and time again

He has done nothing for this club other than be nice to people. We won the PL and CC despite him. Now that a few players are on the downward curve individual brilliance can't carry him constantly

These are basic common sense errors. You don't need to be an obsessive tactician like Guardiola to see this

Demichelis was bought as an interim solution, already in decline and in his early 30s. He was fine as such.
3 years on we are still using him, and relying on him more than ever - way too much for a supposedly title challenging team.

A similar things is happening with Toure too. We have no replacement for him, so we carry on playing him. One in 10 games he scores a cracker, but that's not his actual job. He job is to master our midfield week in, week out. Abject failure in that role and it's costing us dear.

One team wanted it for the start and one wasn't up for it. The fact we started slow and didn't look 'ready' for the battle speaks volumes. Defended dreadfully and probably getting time to realise most of this team are now too old or not good enough. Next season I don't expect to see YaYa, Kolarov, Zabaleta, Fernando, Silva, Delph, Dimichelis, and of those not starting, Clichy, Sagna or Mangala at the club. Phyiscally, we were no match for Leicester today. Their players gave everything for the shirt and we came up well short against their well disciplined and tactically secure side.

Give the man crush up FFS.

He won a double with a squad Mancini had destroyed, the same Mancini who is currently throwing it away again in Italy.

Pellegrini has ran his race and is gone in the summer, not before.

Don't like it watch Fucking Inter Milan.
Mancini had to build a side whilst Pellegrini inherited an already good side so there's a big difference. Mancini did a miles better job than MP and we looked a better solid side when he was in charge. Not saying we need Mancini back just pointing it out. Can't wait for Pellegrini to go.

correct, even in his first season that fucking 2 in a middle struggled against high energy opposition and now we do it 2 years later with the same duo? Jesus Christ.

or Payet fro
Sterling is gash. A one season wonder with Liverpool when Suarez was leading the line. He has the occasional decent game but the majority of the time his touch is awful, passing is awful, shooting is awful and just seems clueless when he's got the ball. The only way he can beat a man is if he has a ton of space to knock the ball into so he can use this pace to beat them. We'd have been better off with Bolasie...
Or Payet from West Ham or Mayrez, both offer far better penetration than Streling.

the likes of leicester ?? they are a really good team. if every man and his dog know how leicester are going to play then why has barely anyone beaten them .....

I've got absolutely nothing against Leicester and hope they win the league if we don't.

However, I'd still class them as a good side rather than an elite side. This might sound disrespectful but until they consolidate the position they are in for a few seasons then they cannot be regarded as anything other than a flash in the pan.

We have seen sides like Newcastle, Liverpool, Spurs and Everton all come close the breaking the top 4 or title challenge only to fall back into mediocrity the following season due to European commitments. They have benefitted from very few injuries and going out of both domestic competitions early which has allowed them to challenge.

There are without a doubt a very good side but not one that we should be getting spanked off and the fact that us, and other teams, keep ignoring their credentials is allowing them to play their natural game.
