The decision to announce Pep

Think Soriano and Khaldoon need to have a few words with the squad (Like after Arsenal loss 2012) and let them know non of their places are guaranteed for next season under Pep. Our current form is not acceptable.

i think after last years end of season comments ,khaldoon will be fuming,
 
I fully expect our season to implode. We might win the Capital One, but that's about it.
The players today didn't seem interested.
Leicester might be top of the league, but they are no world beaters.
 
The weird thing is that were that team today to play v Spurs we might get summat but only if they shift themselves a touch. Pellers can make changes and we set off with a positive attitude and yer can't believe the ineptitude that follows.

We thought in our little group in 323 today that if that starting eleven couldn't turn over Leicester . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . !!!

How can you say that, because Spurs will play exactly how Leicester played today.
They to have pace up front.

'Cos that's the kind of season we have had. Go expecting the worse and we turn in a show, go thinking we've got three points with a dominant game of football and it goes to shit. We are back to being totally unpredictable!

Soriano and Khaldoon: "Right lads, get your arses in gear to the end of the season or Pep will have you out the door"
Any one of the lazy clowns who isn't out of contract: "OK boss, but who's going to stump up a half-decent fee and match our wages?"

To me, I think that this is exactly the point - but not in the way you are referring to. The problem is, as the press has been going into overdrive telling us for the last few days, Pep is not going to come here and tweak a couple of minor things to turn the team into world beaters, he's going to come in to rip up and start again. The players should be playing for their positions right now but with the announcement that he's definitely coming, too many of them know that there is no way they are going to be retained and they are most probably highly demoralised. Yaya for one clearly plans on leaving regardless of what happens, but frankly half of the squad probably has at the back of their heads that they are never going to please Pep and therefore they are for the chop. I've been in positions at work myself where it was obvious that a decision to get rid of my team was imminent and trust me, it doesn't inspire you to work harder.

Call me a traditionalist (young though I may be) but I just don't believe in looking for your next manager until after the previous one has cleared his office and driven out of the car park. The uncertainty destroys the team, every time. I think Ferran and Txiki have to take the blame for this - and I don't like saying this as I truly believe he's one of the greatest things that has happened to the club - but after the manner of both Hughes' and Mancini's departures I think Khaldoon has to shoulder some responsibility too. All the noises after Mancini's appointment were that they'd learned their lessons and that they wouldn't pull the rug from under the team's feet by hiring and firing while the previous manager was still in situ, but it's still happening. I know you have to move early to get Pep and perhaps it was a prerequisite of signing him that this happened, but still, it's effectively written off the season.

Did Bayern players stop performing when pep was announced as there new manager to be?

We've been here before Arsenal away and Liverpool away in previous seasons. The league wasn't won yesterday.
 
You have to wonder if some of the players who were involved in the ousting of Mancini due to his management style are less than enthralled at the forthcoming change in management and what that will mean for them in terms of earning rather than receiving a place in the side.
