Post Match Thread: City vs Spurs

Manuel Pellegrini: 'Well unfortunately for us it was the same referee in the first game against Tottenham they scored two goal on offside.'

ugh..he has a point , but regardless we were poor

It's not for me to say who was. I'm saying it certainly wasn't Sterling. The more I see of him the more I'm convinced Pep will see right through him within the first week of pre season.
I'm sorry I misread what you sed. I agree!

You're saying I am overreacting after saying I hate this team for letting the fans down time and time again this season. Basically saying no matter how awful we are, we should offer them our undying love. You're wrong. After a STRING of AWFUL performances, I definitely hate this team, and it is a perfectly legitimate position. Only gonna get worse until Pep comes in too.
Get lost you are no city fan

And if you can pick him as the main fault today, you obviously decided before the game that if we lost he would be to blame. He did more than Aguero and Silva put together.
Aguero had a bad match to be sure, no argument there, but Silva actually played fairly well (not at his usual heights, mind, but better than recent showings)...

However, Yaya was awful. And I was hoping he would play well before the match started before you ask.

Stony it clearly wasn't a penalty today, but we simply weren't good enough, the point i am making is every week we blame the officials, yes we have had some shitters but we need to start looking at thep players as well, at 1-1 we looked like the only team that were going to win the game and we conceeded a sloppy goal, we got comfortably beaten last week with no dodgy decisions and got murdered 4-1 at home by the dippers, we are very niave and under pellers i dont see that changing

I can't understand the club . What's the strategy and what are they trying to prove? We are a joke at the moment and we won't win anything with him as a amanger.

whats the strategy ? ermm appoint pep in the summer. we've already won things with him as our manager. cup final swell coming up.

If you think that we have had the tub of the green in any way, shape or form this season then I suggest you get your eyes tested.

Time and time again we have been screwed over by poor officials. We habe had stone wall pens not given in both games v Leicester and been utterly robbed in both games against Spurs.

Cannot understand how people can talk about the Sterling overrun in the same category as the abominable decisions we've been getting against this season. Neither the ref nor the linesman could see it from where they were! It's as fucking simple as that!! What we saw in the away game against Spurs was a goal from a move that was offside by two whole yards with the lino overseeing the whole thing. What we saw today was the ref hallucinating a penalty for a "handball" that could not possibly intentional, even if Sterling was in the box, which is in itself debateable.
All that said, we were poor, we created hardly any clear chances.
Good times coming blues, and that's a nailed-on certainty, because the best manager in the world has chosen our club. As for this season, well, I think that's the title gone, personally, and that's a huge disappointment.
Not sure of the stats, but how many years back was that we lost four games at home?

Sterling is not good enough for us and we just have to accept it. People will continue deluding themselves so they can avoid admitting the hard truth that we have wasted 50 million pounds. Most seem to have accepted that we have thrown 40 down the drain with Mangala but can't bring themselves to say what is right in front of their eyes with Sterling. The guy is a speed merchant who always gets out muscled, can't weight a pass and can't beat a man. Just face it, he's bang average.

Clattenberg shocking!! Fort we unlucky lose this game there winner came at a time when we looked the more likely winners

At least he's saying something now. Nothing worse than getting rogered by the officials every game, smiling politely and moving on. Too little too late though.

It's official, I give up.
