Whats your mood regarding City right now?

The injuries definitely haven't helped Karen in fairness. Having vinny, Nasri, de Bruyne, silva and Sergio out for long periods of time have taken its toll but then again playing yaya in a midfield two constantly has taken its bloody toll as well!!!
God knows how many points mp has cost us with the yaya in a 2 and not taking the opposition into account
Not long to go
As for being in 4 comps, chavs will beat us,we will not win the title and in current form we will not beat liverpool at wembley, those are my predictions

My mood is walking away.

We have the best squad in the league playing against 15 all season.

Being punished by jealousy of other institutions.

The facts are this, we are still right in the fight for the title, we are still in the FA cup, we are through the group stages of the chumps league with a favourable fixture to come, we have a cup final in a fortnight and the longer term future looks as good as it ever has, now I know you are all fully aware of this and do not need reminding by me, but how come the general feeling myself included is one of disaster and depression, what happened to "we fight to the end", where is the crowd roaring them on, where is the belief. What's up with us, from top to bottom we are surrounded by gloom and I can't fathom it out.

I felt quite happy yesterday , perhaps mistakenly, but the performance was very good and if we can put a similar amount of effort in for the rest of the season can see no reason why we cannot have a successful time of it.

Yep I agree unfortunately!! Hate feeling shit about a city season but pep time soon and things will get better!! :-)

I'm pleased this thread has appeared. A lot of the time for football fans, and certainly for me, frustration comes from not being able to put your finger on what's wrong and explain the problems your team has. A few people in this thread have given some very good reasons so I'll give my piece as well.

I'm frustrated.

I'm frustrated with Pellegrini. He is clearly a nice guy with superb morals and I only have admiration for his handling of the Pep situation. But as a manager I feel he isn't good enough for us. The things you see, like his team selection, tactics and substitutions go horribly wrong sometimes, and a lot of the time it's simple things that me and you could see that he gets wrong. The bigger concern for me is the gradual effect he's had on the squad. He's drained the winning mentality from the squad, we are a timid side now as shown from our home record and big game record. I feel like we don't control games anymore, teams let us have possession; we don't create bags of chances anymore, we rely on individual bits of quality; we aren't defensively solid anymore when teams come at us but we do when teams sit back and give us an easy ride. I have full respect for him for unfortunately will be very pleased to see him go.

I'm frustrated with the players. Frustrated that they've managed to let themselves lose this winning mentality. We looked like a team again with Vinny back in the lineup but it shouldn't take his return to do that. Senior players need to step up and unfortunately the haven't.

I'm frustrated with our recruitment. Since 2012 we should have been adding to the spine of the team, not buying squad players like we have done for too long. We should have been adding players that raise the standard of the team, not the strength of the squad, and now that spine is starting to wither, so are we.

I'm frustrated with injuries. Our luck has quite simply been horrendous. However bad we have been this season I feel if we had at least half the injuries we have had we'd still be top, just.

But I am relieved that we know where we stand at the end of the season. We are in a bad position, like many other teams but at least we know what is to come. Hopefully Vinny's return will also bring more performances like Tottenham, and we can win the cup final and go right until the end with the league. 6 points is nothing at this stage, especially with the top 4 so below par for this time of year, points will be dropped.

This is my mood too along with a very real fear that we could finish 5th.

The scummy rags might hit a bit of form if they know they could catch us. My worst fear right now.

I'm firmly of the mind that that's enough fucking about. We've given the other fuckers a chance.

Now is the time to go on a run and win the fuckin league !

C'mon you BLUES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. I honestly believe we have a good chance of doing it.

I feel sad as the lifespan of what is arguably the greatest City team in history is coming to an end. The last 5 years have been utterly fantastic.

There are positives though even without the imminent arrival of Pep. KDB, Raheem, Kelechi and of course the main man Sergio offer a glimpse into a better future.

Looking forward to the next game. I cannot linger on the past too long, it's bad for my health.
Plus i'm old enough to have seen the whole 44 years without silverware.
I'm going to enjoy all these ups and down, until the inevitable.

I'm just fed up with all the f**king moaning minnies following the club, if its such a chore, why bother ?
Most people have moaned about one thing. The clown in the dugout. Some of us don't want to accept mediocrity when we have all the elements bar one to dominate English football and become a force in Europe. I realise that Audrey is going but it's 2 seasons to late and in that time the best city squad I have ever seen has underachieved.

There is a possibility that this could be one of the most exciting finishes to a premier league season in terms of number of clubs still in with a realistic chance of winning it. Normally, it would be down to a two or three horse race max around now, and we are still part of that.

As much as the notion of smashing the rest of the field out of contention every game has its attractions, there's that part of the old city in me that longed for potential finishes like this with more than the usual suspect clubs in with a chance.

Should we be in that position? No, and neither should Arsenal, United or Chelsea, all of us have underachieved this season. Those failings have created the drama though and allowed others to experience what we felt, if only just for this season, so I'm happy we're still a part of the story.

this ,lets hope this team has one last "hunt them down" battle in them,

It's like that moment when you realise that your relationship is coming to an end. You cling on for dear life and hope the good times return. You get the odd glimmer of hope after a night out but reality soon bites again.

Liverpool suffered it last season with Gerrard, the rags are suffering with Rooney, Chelsea with Terry.

Sadly and I hate to say it as I am his biggest fan, we are seeing it with Toure and a few others who I don't need to name won't be far behind.

A new era beckons.....

We've seen it all before. Players come and go but City remain.
Just that in the past, we've been glad to see the back of a lot of our players ;-)

This post has to be the most depressing shit I've ever read.
For a city fan to come out with this garbage considering our history is fuckin tragic.
Football is about highs and lows, good and bad decisions, injuries, form, tactics and hundreds of different factors that's why we love it.Sure we seem to get more bad refereeing decisions than some others, but that makes it sweeter when we win.Yeah Pellers sometimes seems to lack in awareness of how to adapt to playing different styles but he's here till the end of the season and we have a reasonable chance of picking up some silverware so why would anybody who claims to be a fan want the season to be over.
Are you the type who unless everything is going perfect you give up,cause I've got news for you pal winners dig in when things are going against them and that's why they win,and we got our biggest winner back in the team yesterday.
Our form is not the best at the moment but this is when we need to dig deep and work through it.Next season with Pep will come soon enough but for fuck sake don't give up on the team when so much is at stake.
Great post mate, some of our fans piss me off far more than the team, they don't understand that we can't and won't win all the time. People leaving the ground because we look like getting beat. Can't wait for the season to end ? thought we were in a final. We have been involved in some great games.Yes it has also been frustrating but have we been that bad? Get a grip ffs.

I'm scared about tourists. About not having anything in common with the person sat next to me. Regards the team - it's football - ups and downs.
