on the way home from the match a female sky reporter came on the radio and announced, unfortunately Liverpool failed to win the capital one cup, losing on penalties. She then went on to report on the Scum's and Spurs win and never mentioned City in the whole of her report.

Yes mate, that was the exact tone and general direction of their chatter also.

Many on here slag Andy Townsend of but he atm seems to me to be one of the most even handed and fair match commentators not that we will have him since ITV losing cl etc. The American guys are the best now it has to be said, no years of indoctrination that sweats out during commentary, just good commentary with a few stats chucked in.
 
I think the yellow for the shirt is to appease the sponsors. Etihad would want their name to be seen by the cameras. The cyclists always make sure the sponsors can be seen when they win. They make a big point of zipping up their jersey.

The diving in the crowd is quite dangerous for the poor stewards at the front of the stand. A few were knocked over when one of the spurs players jumped in the crowd. I thought they should have seen a few yellow cards!

this is a disgrace to be honest.. I didn't hear it myself but if its accurate ,its a complete disgrace
 
I don't suppose Wilkins or Sky had anything adverse to say about Chelsea Youth progressing in their European competition because the ref in that match plus 2 linesmen could not see the ball hit the back of the net and come out.
 
Watched Channel 5 highlights ,and David James commented at least 3 times , how unfortunate it was that the Dippers didnt win , all these examples of media bias are really a back handed compliment , we get under their skin , because their established top four has been dismantled , we will do our talking on the pitch , collect a few more trophies , while the media can enjoy their nostalgic trips down memory lane and the glory days of the Rags,Dippers and Goons.

If we nail a few into villas coffin at the weekend it might be worth bombarding colly on the old Twitter, as for the crab Wilkins he's as thick as two short planks he's heard someone mention that because he has not got the intelligence to even realise the discretion, sky have put him up to that!
