Lescott had him in his pocket and was able to keep up with him, thats how immobile he was today. Rusty being very generous, not suited to our style of play the more likely.

Couple of decent link-up plays with Kun, but no confidence in the shot and several backpasses straight to Villa's midfield. Luckily, Villa were poor enough that we could afford Bony's miscues.

Performance aside, it disappoints me how he automatically jumps straight back to the top of the pecking order behind Kun. I suppose he needs the minutes.

a good striker keeps on going after a poor shot or a poor game. trouble is in the system we play and that Sergio is the first choice, it'll be a while before he starts again.

Heard a fan on the radio say "Get in the bath, Bony!" at half time. if he had a better 2nd half, then fair play to him.

Yep he is trying to hard nice assist but he doesn't compliment our side like Nacho does.

Not clinical enough where it counts unfortunately. A goal today would have done him the world of good but his own lack of compusure doesn't do him any favours.
Natuarally I'd love him to score a hatful between now and May but I won't be rushing to the bookies to place any bets on it happening.
Hopefully people won't be too harsh on him though I accept its hard not to sometimes.

It's the Bony Perfomances thread. It's here for compliments as well as criticisms. Today's performance wasn't too good. Hopefully he'll do better next time.

Nacho acts like he belongs whilst Bony looks uncomfortable out there.

Confidence is huge at this level to compliment the obvious talent and right now, Bony is short.

We will all have to see what Pep thinks.
