and that's with us having won our first FIVE games! No back-to-back PL wins since October! Not good and ruined my weekend again...
 
Been a blue since 1990 (and before but too young to recall)

And today is the angriest I have been at the final whistle.

I've been angry before, mostly at referee performances or at the opposition, but I can't remember the last time I was that angry at City (mostly at the clown in charge).
 
Don't understand the board not acting. Maybe they have prepared everyone including Pep for no CL next season
 
Long-in-the-tooth City fans will have learned a long time ago never to pin the quality of their weekend on the performance (or otherwise!) of our boys in blue!

Wish that was true, I've been following for 40 years and the blues are still capable of ruining a weekend.

Probably because Pep is coming but it shouldn't make a difference,get someone in for the last 9 games in the hope we put a few wins together and get top 4. We have a great owner but the people he has employed have failed in my opinion. Manuel should have been sacked last summer,having failed to pull the trigger then they should have done it before Christmas as it's no surprise to me we are in the position we currently are. It's not going to get any better with him in the dugout,we will finish 6th or 7th in my opinion.

But the season hasn't finished yet has it?

There is nothing to save as you put it. We have won a cup, are still in the CL and we are in the CL places and yes, our form is shit and a worry right now but you just have to hope we get over the line, something this manager and these players are more than capable of doing.

I get the anger and frustration as i feel the same but its the constant repeating of why is the club doing nothing when we have done something that grates.

Pep is replacing Pellegrini.

Surely the owners will think the not getting top 4 is a disaster?

So they need to take action now while they can!

Anyone would be better than Pellegrini at this point.

It's only the way the players wages are structured that gives me any hope of top 4. It's amazing how they pulled their finger out at the end of last season when they had to.

My main concern is that 4/5 of them probably know that the writing is on the wall and they are getting picked by a manager that also knows the writing in very much on his wall. Since this announcement we have taken 7 points from 18 and have played 3 of the bottom 4 sides in that time.

But Pellegrini is taking us towards Europa League places! Surely we need to take action now before that happens?

Our form this season has been abysmal and we don't look like turning it around at all!
