If you could meet Manuel.

I would ask him how he has managed to destroy all the hard work that Mancini did despite the vast investment!
How he has managed to make Manchester City a team who were so solid at the back into a team who can't defend and leak goals for fun!
How he has managed to engineer a change in mentality and ensured the Etihad is no longer a fortress in which away teams dread coming!

But none of this will help

All this and:

What do we practice every day? Why are we so poor at set pieces?

Why doesn't he pick a team on form/merit?

Why do the players seem so demotivated, tired?

Why are we so poor tactically? We play a highland but don't press. We're so easy to slice through. What exactly do you teach these players?

That popular phrase "can't teach an old dog new tricks..." springs to mind. Nothing football related. I'd probably ask him if he'd watched anything interesting on TV lately.

I met him out in a restaurant in Hale the Thursday before the Leicester at home debacle. I was joking did he want any help with the team selection ahead of the game.

The ludicrous thing is I perhaps shouldn't have been joking , I now believe a good percentage of posters on here could do a better job.
I think this is the thing. He always picks the wrong side. Even the other day at Norwich we were missing Yaya, kev and nasri, he then weakens us further by picking bony ahead of sterling or the kid. How is that even possible on form alone let alone the youngsters would have ripped Norwich a new one. When they saw the sheet they would have rubbed their hands and thought we have a chance here. The man's a clown.

I'd ask him, "did you have a bad paper round as a kid. Do you go jogging behind the council road gritter. Do you sleep with your head out of the bedroom window ?"
