This. There's very little you can do to protect someone so utterly out of their depth.
The reason there was such a big fucking gap in front of the centre halves is because Demichelis drops too deep, too soon, because he's petrified of people running in behind him. Their forwards can then get on the ball, turn and run at him, and then he comes fucking haring out like a **** (Otamendi does the same, though to a lesser degree).
It's been a problem all season, in pretty much every single game Kompany hasn't played. And having Fernando in the team on those occasions (Liverpool, Spurs, Stoke etc.), hasn't guaranteed a draw.
 
Thank god we signed Pep up before he realizes he's taking over a club that may very well end up in the damn Europa League.
 
4th place is gone. We didn't even raise the game, show some fight in a derby game.

Don't put a ribbon round a dog turd of a season...What's happened this season is criminal..

Pellegrini is the root cause....

We went all in for Pep (something we all may have done) but didn't think through who should be the interim manager (that's what Audrey has been)
 
we won't get top 4...not a chance

that will halt our progression long term as well as no champs league will affect who Pep can bring in as the very best won't come.

MP should have gone last year regardless of whether they knew they were getting Pep or not.......MP is a fraud and a bang average manager
 
Watched it with some american friends who've not seen a full game before. One of them asked why were we going slowly sideways and backwards whilst they went quickly forward more than us.
I told them it was all part of a holistic masterplan.
 
And whilst media salivate over Rashford, our own starlet has to sit and watch from the bench!!
 
So what's the solution everyone? If we sack pellegrini do we go with a caretaker or another manager? Who could we get that would take the job for the remainder of the season and would the players play for them either? I'm racking my brain.. Maybe caretaker and the pep to make the odd visit to the dressing room to say he's keeping an eye on them
