In light of all the very public, negative, comments about pricing for PSG - and pricing in general - those two words were the first two (*) that came to mind when I started to watch this.



(*) Actually, the first two were "fuck off" but then I remembered I'm edumacated. And I only watched the first 2 or 3 minutes because the camera-work was making me seasick :(

Dissonance is never one of the first words that springs to my mind, can I stay with your first thoughts :-)

I've still no fucking idea.

In psychology, cognitive dissonance is the mental stress or discomfort experienced by an individual who holds two or more contradictory beliefs, ideas, or values at the same time, performs an action that is contradictory to one or more beliefs, ideas or values, or is confronted by new information that conflicts with existing beliefs, ideas, or values.[1][2]

Leon Festinger's theory of cognitive dissonance focuses on how humans strive for internal consistency. An individual who experiences inconsistency (dissonance) tends to become psychologically uncomfortable, and is motivated to try to reduce this dissonance—as well as actively avoid situations and information likely to increase it.[1]

If this was first thought fair play.

I think FS has done a fantastic job as CEO at City.... but if you listen to what he says in the first few minutes above, he is lauding the community-based working class origins of MCFC which is at odds with the way the Club is handling pricing.

Y'know, maybe I had seen those, and maybe I was also aware of how fast those threads were moving, and maybe I thought this video was worth being seen by lots of people who wouldn't necessarily see it in one of those and maybe I thought its own thread would achieve that. Maybe.
