Not sure about that. If he does stay it will be in a deeper role mostly behind the ball. I expect that under Pep all outfield players with the exception of Kun maybe will have to get back behind the ball quickly. There will be no room for Yaya lumbering around in such a set up. At the end of the day I think that if a good offer comes in he will be off otherwise he may be used by Pep sparingly for another year. Keep but he has to stop starting, which sadly I don't see happening.
If you asked me this before Christmas I'd have been the first one to say sell. In recent weeks he's turned it around and been one of our best players in the last couple of months even rolled back the years to say.
Now I'm not so sure what I'd do with him
The recent improvement in form is because he is looking for a new contract. This is the time to invest in midfield for the future.
