Can't see both De Bruyne and Nasri both starting after such long lay-offs. Would think Navas is a shoo-in to start as he hasn't been away on international duty, so should be fresher than most.

I'd wager Nasri will start as he's ineligible to play v PSG. KDB to presumably come on in the second half and then start in Paris.

Yeah, I think you might be right. Couldn't see Toure in any of the training pictures today, so presume he won't be available.

Reckon we'll line up something like this:

Caballero
Sagna
Otamendi
Mangala
Clichy
Fernando
Fernandinho
Nasri
Silva
Navas
Aguero

A look inside training

Bournemouth are very good at home. Think their work ethic and game plan maybe too much for us. Draw won't be good enough but I think thats what it will be.

With PSG looming, I don't think Yaya or Kev will start due to making sure they're ready for midweek, but I think Kev will come on as a sub. As some have mentioned, I think Nasri will start as he can't play in the UCL and he's been "back" in training longer than Kev. I think we'll go:

Willy, Zab, Otamendi, Mangala, Clichy, Fernandinho, Fernando, Navas, Silva, Nasri, Kun.
Bench to be Wright, Sagna, Demichelis, Kolarov, KDB, Kelechi, and a youngster.

I'd be happy with a win of any kind

I'd take 4 points from the next 2 league games. City, Utd and West Ham are averaging 5/3 points per game so 2 points per game is a better return than we or our rivals have been getting.

Maybe but we have 5away where are form is poor and the rags have 5at home so put that into your logic!
Doesn't matter. To finish 4th and above West Ham and Man Utd we don't need to be winning home and away. Their results are similar to ours. Of course it would put us in a good position if we beat Bournemouth but the doomed comments above are more tongue in cheek than serious I think.

Has it got that bad that we are satisfied with mediocre results against dross.

Seriously half of Europe would be licking their chops to take on Bournemouth away and West Brom at home.

Nothing but two wins from the next two games will do.

West Ham and Manure will both win their games over the weekend we have to as well.

Talking aobut past returns is meaningless now , 8 games means 8 wins nothing more nothing less and if we do that at least we can finish fourth.

Have a bad feeling Pellegrini will rest some players for the PSG game. I can see him resting Aguero and playing bony.

Depends on whether the "powers that be" have decided if 4th spot is more important than a semifinal gig. Its not rocket science to work out which is more important. Playing Bony when he's in such poor form is stupid.

In nearly 40 years of supporting City I can't remember a game, any game, where I would have wanted it any other way tbf.
