Not unless he deserved it.
Have I told you my Tony Coton story?
Not unless he deserved it.
I feel as though this could be another thread of mine that gets deleted, all I do is inform who it's gonna be,then all hell breaks loose, but you know me I'm always up for an argument
AND ,.... another thread derailed by people fighting their corner instead of speaking/giving their opinon about what this thread is all about THE fucking ref for wba game...well done boys
[/QUOTE]Sorry mate.
I think these topics are always and would love a thread where there os bot an outcry stating he is biased or shit. Discuss :-).
On a serious note, besides the Aguero dive, is there another instance where he has 'wronged' us in peoples opinions?

Thing is what you don't seem to be picking up on,is most if not ALL of us know who the ref is by name, which immediately creates,or meant to create discussion, that's the whole point,Mike Jones is a useless fucking ****,whether he has wronged us or not,(but he has).
When for example we have Clattenburg, there is mixed opinion, mostly negative I may add,but our resident West Ham fan has created a thread about what a **** he is after Saturday's match, something the majority of us on here already know, there are not a lot left on the list, which makes you think,oh we have a sensible one doing us at weekend, then when they are announced at 4pm,your fears are confirmed, which applies to this coming Saturday's match as well
But do you not, in all serious, not think it is just a very tough job and almost impossible to call every decision correctly.
Shearer and Wright could not even agree on the Leicester 'handball' after reflecting on it for hours and seeing dozens of replays from numerous angles.
Sadly the mind and the eyes can play tricks on you.
I dont think Jones is biased, I just think he is totally inept, shocking ref
Not totally. He called a couple of throw-ins correctly.
Whenever i see him ref, he seems to blow and then respond to how the players react, it seems to take him a long time to indicate which way any incident goes, almost like he's guessing.
Am not moaning, but don't feel the need to pontificate to all those that like to.
Sorry, meant to add. He is shit, though.
I long for the day a ref appointment is announced and there is not the usual outcry or belief that they are all against us.
To be fair, it's not a surprise when we keep getting Madley, Taylor, Clattenburg or Mason. Saturday was the first time I've seen Madley without him being a complete cnut.
Jones I would peg as simply incompetent rather than biased, but I don't think there's ever that much of an outcry if we get Atkinson, Marriner, Probert, Moss etc etc, is there?
Are you, dare I say then, perhaps taking the reaction to 3 or 4 individuals with long histories of contentious decisions against us, and using that to fuel your own, erm, anti-agenda, agenda?! I think we should be told....... ;-)
Of course it is all conjecture but please find a link to a thread about Mariner, just one of examples, and the views of our fellow Blue Mooners
http://forums.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk/threads/todays-referee.278667/
Although I am sure views have softened since then and fans would welcome him with open arms. Is that enough of an outcry?
Not just that but we actually won that game so the fact we were pissed off wasn't down to sour grapes. Just another shit performance from a supposedly top flight ref.Ah, loading the dice in your favour by not only quoting from a thread that is 3 years old, but more importantly one that was started immediately after a match that was refereed badly, when emotions were inevitably bound to be running high, rather than one of the pre-match "And the ref for Saturday is....." threads we were talking about earlier. Moving the goalposts like that, tsk, tsk; you're not related to David Gill are you. ;-)
