Get to the Etihad for the 2nd leg!

Judging by the number of empty seats every game, every year, you are not alone. There are lots of ST holders who don't go to these games. Never have and probably never will.

I quite like the football as it's a bit different to the usual 100mph we get in the prem. I don't like the way the club are taking advantage of fan loyalty though and so am dropping it next season.
Your choice. Enjoy having a Blue Moan in Prestwich.

By the way, I am in Prestwich and we're all going ballistic tonight! No idea who PB is but don't let drag our neighbourhood down. COME ON CITY!!!

The only way this club will go backwards is if some of the negativity that comes across from some about the owners and the ECL spreads. We screwed up the Premier League and arguably the FA Cup, but if the team can seal a place in the semis, anything can happen. Why can't some so called fans get their heads out of their arses and actually support the team? Because they are bitter and twisted and not really worth having. This could be the making of the club, yet they sulk. There isn't much about professional football that is perfect, so get behind the team and the club or fuck off!
Agreed, well said.
Won't be there as I'll be in front of the TV.
Good, shame that you are on your keyboard moaning so much. Are you a City fan?

Tickets will be snapped up next day or two. Hopefully more history made next week by the oldest club left in the competition.

Of course they have. But they haven't done it out of the goodness of their hearts or because they felt sorry for us. They've done it to promote the image of Abu Dhabi and to make a return on their investment. As much as they may have "given" us, they've taken other things away.

Fully agree, but if we were somehow in a position where the fans owned us, and we'd made it this far, what do we think we'd charge for tickets? I personally think we'd charge the going rate. I've paid £50 for next week. Liverpool tickets for BVB are £45 for similar. What's the going rate for CL quarter final? I paid a fricking fortune in Barcelona last year to get altitude sickness.

Money is so great though in football. I think the £30 cap is fair, but there'll soon be a home cap.

I used to pay attention when I clicked on and saw that Prestwich Blue had posted on a thread. After tonight I couldn't give a shit about what he thinks, I feel he has shown himself up and for me he has no credibility on here any more.

Agreed... That's why I questioned 'why is he a mod'

Sad but true, time he left the stage and you know City will carry on without him.

Used to really enjoy reading the posts on this site but taken a break for a while whilst we've been a bit shit because I knew everyone would be moaning but I'm sick of it now. Since when has it become 'popular' to slag off the team, owners and other fans? Fuck modern football but fuck everyone who is turning their backs and becoming the problem. mcfc ok

What a strange attitude you have developed over the last few weeks PB. Nothing could ever diminish my love for City, and certainly not the predominantly good things our owners have done for our club.

I wish I could be there and would happily pay £60 to be so - it's the £750 flight I can't afford! If we create half the atmosphere we did for the Hamburg game it'll be rocking.

Yeah but really it not as bad as some say it is, tourist and selfies you get in the premier league too , and really grown adults should not let something like that worry them , my own son takes selfies it the modern age, I don't do it myself.
You had a load of Belgian tourist away at arsenal in the league which I thought was bad , so it's not just a champs league thing.
I like a drink as much as the next man/woman but surely we can go without an alcoholic beverage for 2/3 hours, the beer is usually shit anyway.
I lot of the problems people don't like about the CL you also get in the Prem , that's what I don't understand

The one big difference with the games that I didn't mention is the difficulty in getting there for midweek games with the awful traffi/ poor train network in the uk. For me working all day and then going straight to the game and getting home after 11 after being out since 7 isn't ideally what I want to be doing and its that factor that I would assume puts some off more than anything. I agree the rest isn't insurmountable. It's the way football is going unfortunately. We had fans in SS3 with half half scarves on against United!

I do find the football better though. The players are more technically gifted than the grafters found in many prem teams.
