Get to the Etihad for the 2nd leg!

Would be nice if the atmosphere could be re-created that we had when we played Hamburg at home in the 2nd leg of the Europa League, I was lucky to be able to be there that day and even though we did not get to the next round it was a great night.

It wont be as its almost a completely different set of fans. an early goal would help it though. The atmosphere was shit against Everton in the Semi until we went 2-1 up. We do seem to have a knack of conceding first currently though.

Paid 42 quid away at Birmingham in 1998 if I remember correctly ??

£40 to watch this shit
£40 to watch this shit.

The whole game long.

But us saps paid the £40 and thats now pretty cheap. More fool us.

You won't get a Hamburg atmosphere. It's all tourists with iPads and selfie sticks nowadays. When I go and sit in my regular seat for champs league games I never know anyone that's around me. Everyone who has SCs around me are either not buying tickets or scattered elsewhere.

Used to really enjoy reading the posts on this site but taken a break for a while whilst we've been a bit shit because I knew everyone would be moaning but I'm sick of it now. Since when has it become 'popular' to slag off the team, owners and other fans? Fuck modern football but fuck everyone who is turning their backs and becoming the problem. mcfc ok

There's more trolls on here then Facebook agree with what you said I've taken a step back on here.

Been too many trying to round up an angry mob on here !! Using the increase in ticket price as a convenient excuse to get their pitchforks out, and now crying that its getting personal. If anybody doesn't want to pay don't bother. Its more than likely they didn't turn up for the earlier ( cheaper ) group stage games anyway - cause in my block I was completely surrounded by tourists instead of season card holders.

Maybe after forking out for a season ticket and being there for every league game they just can't afford the extra expenditure. You sit with your tourists and enjoy the game.

It's no where near as bad as you make it out to be, I normally sit in block 110 , but as I am not on the champs league cup scheme, ( which could bite me on the arse if we get to the final) I sit in other areas of the ground for champs league games and it not that bad still plenty of match going blues.
For instance if I sat next to you , cos you don't know me and my son gets his iPhone out and took a pic, you would think I was a tourist ,even though I'm a season card holder that sits elsewhere.
In any case I do think that grown adults that get upset by a few iPads ,selfie sticks etc are a bit soft, there is a lot worse in the world.

At least us' 'tourists' whatever that means won't have to sit with some of the moaning s/c holders we normally do , it will be fans that want to be there, and enjoy it.

I did say they may be scattered elsewhere. I came off the cup scheme just before they were going to take the money for this game because I just couldn't justify the price. I had to do the same last year just before the Barcelona game because I couldn't pay it. Next year I'm off the schemes and will maybe pay on a game by game if the prices are ok. If not then I will watch for free on my kodi app because I refuse to pay for BT sports aswell . If the club can fill the ground with tourists in CL game day then fair doos. I can attend league games and still enjoy my club.

Yes, I was a s/c holder back in '75, now me and my son are match day ticket buyers about 8 times a season always in different seats, he'll take his phone and take pictures,we will be at PSG are we tourists ?

I bought e-tickets for the PSG game a week a go or so and know the links are not working and I can't print them, do anyone have the same problem!

Enjoy it then. I don't mind the tourists it's the prices that annoy me

At the end of the day it's a supply and demand business, it's the first time the club have gone this far in the competition and have a good chance of going through. I'd be going if I could afford it, but don't feel any less of a fan listening on GMR

Could not get a stream last night so listened to Radio Manc. - Why no Cheesy? - had to put up with Peter Jones and Danny Mills -

Mills seems to have a problem with City - more so than Jones. /.
