And he's even wrong on that. The contract under which we occupy the stadium is a finance lease and entitles us to all the benefits and risks of ownership, which includes any revenue streams that it generates. It's like an airline leasing a plane from Airbus, Boeing or a third party. They can paint it in their livery and get the revenue from operating it.

It certainly would be interesting but I'll just say that I've have had some contact with Nick over the years and he's generally quite good on FFP plus his website is excellent with some great stuff on it. This article is a right dog's breakfast but the clicks help pay the bills I suppose.

I wonder what the response from our owner (and PSG) would have been if they had carried out the exclusion.

The reason to create the barrier to entry shows a certain fear of our owners capability so perhaps they did not want to tweak the tigers tail too much.
Perhaps Mr Harris only has historical options left to keep the defeated and flawed FFP in the news as a good thing.

I always thought that the expulsion was on the list of punishments, but it was a long way off happening

Given PB's comments, it appears to me that Harris has written something on commission, for Mail readers, purely to create an impression prior to City being the last CL side standing.

The fact that we play another FFP tainted Club adds to that view.

Seems they were right to be fearful of competition.
Proper investment in time produces financial and field of play results. Debt, unless serviced by massive profit needs the very investment FFP originally disallowed.

Nail.Head. Much better for clubs to be hugely on the red. Outrageous to be debt free.

Thanks PB, seem to remember you previously mentioned many moons ago that our owner pays tax in the country where his various investments take place but the advent of the Holding Company made this a little more complex but convenient for expansion projects.

Yeah but a minus on the projections for no percentage increase in ST prices!! It's like Snakes and Ladders this FFP.

Still good to see Infantino wriggling after all his sneering at us. And FFP is dead!
