West Brom Post Match Thread

First time I've ever seen a ref run 40yards to check if a ball was in the quadrant prior to taking a corner, embarrassing

Phew, that was hard to watch. Must have been bloody awful for the fans in that miserable weather. The main objective was achieved though - 3 points.
Thought Samir thoroughly deserved his MOTM at the ground - he played really well considering it was his first start for man months.
I thought Bony was selected to get the high balls and then lay them off to small mobile players - he just held up play totally. MP for gods sake give your head a wobble and pick Nacho ahead of him in future.
Why the hell was Kun left on the pitch for so long after all the kicks he was getting he was obviously hampered and needed protection ready for Tuesday.

If I thought that was a poor game but I've just watched (on Sky) the Auckland City v Solomon Warriors in the OCL (Champions League) - that was even more painful. The Auckland goalie had more touches than any of their forwards as the defence kept passing back to him. How they managed to score 4 goals was a mystery.

I may get banned for speaking my mind; but I'm talking honestly in saying that 9999999 out of 10000000 fans hate Bony and are totally gutted that he is restricting the progress of Iheanacheo!

Has it really sunk to bollocks like this.

He has proven himself in the PL and in the right team is a proven powerhouse and scorer. He is definitely (for whatever reason) not suited to us, be that because we set up against how he thrives or he is starstruck with his new peers.

Surely frustrated rather than hate is what you meant.

I mean hate Bony playing before Iheanacheo, I have no personal harptred of the player obviously, I'm sure he is a great guy but is currently useless playing for City and stopping a young talent. Not playing Iheanacheo could seriously stunt his progress!

No probs, but if you read your post again, you will see you have stated hate.

Only to find that the ball was actually placed correctly! There is just something not quite right about him. I suspect he was everyone's favourite punchbag at school.

It's a kneejerk statement. What your saying is take two out of our CL squad without replacement. With Vinnie probably not ready, what would be your tactic if either Ota or Eli got injured during the game

Play Tosic or Humphreys, even YaYa could play centre half

He was completely useless again today but I don't hate him. Who knows what damage the malaria has done, he looks so slow and cumbersome and lacking in energy. It's Pellers that puts him on the pitch though in preference to a kid that looks like scoring every time he plays. The only thing keeping me semi cheerful is the fact he will be gone soon, as I think will Wilf.

hates a terrible word towards a player, it isnt his fault he`s picked to play while being so far off the pace and out of form

Semi final of CL at stake!. I think my original response stands

Well I completely disagree, Tosic looks a great talent and should have started against the red shit

YaYa has played in a Champions league Final at Centre half!

It's clear that Demichellis (love the man) legs are gone or do you disagree with that also?

I don't hate him either pal, I made that point earlier but it's unbelievably frustrating how these fantastic young players aren't getting played.

Tosic, Iheanacheo and Garcia should have had much more game time this season

Tosic > Demichellis
Iheanacheo > Bony

It's clear to majority of fans so can't understand how the manager keeps on making the same errors in selection

@mosssideblue seems to have gone on a witch hunt, but I stand by my points

I'm saying your notion of wanting to drop two of our team from the CL squad at this stage is rediculous.

With the tie there to be won, introducing someone who "looks a great talent" IMO is not a smart move.

Yaya at center back - you nearly got me on that one

Demi's legs have gone, but he will be on the bench unless injuries say otherwise.
