Yaya and his agent have similarities to Barton and his **** of an Agent Willie McKay.

The crap McKay was stirring behind the scenes at the Etihad at the time, unsettling Pearce and other players and my player is the big fish in a small pond blah blah fuckin blah. This is just the same from Yaya and Saluk but on a higher playing field.

I think his mum was trying to negotiate with City on Nedum's behalf but Joorabchian was 'advising' them both.

I think the reason Joorabchian's name came into it was because the email was apparently a year old before it was leaked and in that time Cook and Nedum's mum were trying to work through their issues. Then Joorabchian came onto the scene with an axe to grind over Tevez, the email coincidentally gets leaked to the media and that was the beginning of the end for Cook.

It was also the end for Nedum iirc. He was on loan at Sunderland and City wanted to sell him or loan him out again and he refused to go saying he wanted to stay and fight for his place and basically wasted a year of his career in our reserves before he eventually moved on. Nice lad but a limited player who's probably found his level where he is.

I might be (probably am) wrong on this, but I seem to remember hearing that Ian Wright was the one who leaked the email.

Yes obviously and they came through the ranks together, but why would Ian Wright be arsed about a 12 month old email and what would he have gained by leaking it?

Iirc, and I could be way off beam, his son was in negotiations with City which led to him being released, and old Ian didn't take well to Cookie's role in all of this and so the leaked email was payback time

Yes but how did Ian get hold of the email in the first place? Unless Nedum or his mum gave it to him, it all seems a bit of a stretch.

That doesn't seem much of a stretch at all to me.

Maybe Nedum mentioned it in passing to SWP and his dad and Ian said give it to me.

We never replaced tevez. Amazing player and I liked him as a bloke. Seemed sound.

Different type of players. We have really missed him. Not saying aguero is not great of course he is but would love to have seen them play together more.
