The battle for 4th place

I don't wish to take anything away from Leicester, it is an amazing, almost unbelievable story and I hope they do make the rumoured film (I heard Vinnie Jones has been pencilled in to play Nigel Pearson !) However, does anyone agree with me that Spurs have cause for complaints regarding the fixture situation - I'm sure were it City we would all be up in arms. Last weekend Leicester played on the Sunday, Tottenham Monday, same again this round of matches and again next week, Spuds play last on the Monday night, with that added bit of pressure that playing catch-up brings....

Just a thought.

Not heard any complaints coming from the spuds but with the amount of money the tv companies are paying we can only expect worse to come in the next few seasons, they will be running more than the show.

Nope. Advantage to Spurs knowing the result of the Leicester game every week. They're just shit cunts and couldn't make use of it.

Can't see us catching Spurs at all. Just can't see them dropping five points and us winning all of our games. Also think that if Leicester won on Sunday, Chelsea won't be quite so fussed if there's no party to spoil on Monday and that will favour Spurs. Spurs still have a lot of pride to play for and finishing above Arsenal would be huge for them.

Given we play arsenal at home we ought to be favourites for third now but we've been so inconsistent I'd probs take fourth if you offered it to me now. The qualifier isn't ideal but at least it would keep up us in the mix whilst we start planning our summer rebuild

Chelsea won't want to be beaten by Spurs, they'll pull out the stops at Stamford Bridge, it's a derby after all. Chelsea have had a mini revival, they'll want to stuff the Spuds. If Newcastle is still in with a shout on the last day it could be a tough game at St James' Park.

Imagine being a Leicester fan who had that stupid £10 bet on em at the start of the season! I know a few have cashed out but not for peanuts.

Imagine your team winning the premier league (we all know how that feels) and winning £50k too.

That is just unreal.

The Arse will be chasing spuds now as I can also see them dropping points at Chelsea and Newcastle.
Our game against them at The Etihad has become even bigger now.

It's possible but our goal from here is to finish 3rd. We win our games or win two and draw against Arsenal and it's done. That's basically what we need to do.

Imagine how much you'd be shitting yourself each game.

Bookie will be making that back over the summer when every Burnley, Sunderland, Bournemouth etc fan thinking that it can happen to them throws down a tenner in August.
