Würzburg is the capital of Unterfranken (Lower Franconia) - one of the 8 administrative districts of Bavaria.
It is in the middle between Frankfurt and Nuremberg.

They kept me imprisoned in a boarding school in Würzburg for four years ... ;) (7th to 10th class) - but from 8th class on we were allowed to spend one and a half hours in the City every day. A lot of this time I spend in that yellow building there. In it was a big department store then. There is where I tried out my first Basic on the personal computers they offered there before I owned my first C64 and before I had "Computer Science" in school. The rest of the time I spend in the area behind the building smoking...

Not really a football town. They had one season in Bundesliga 2, their local rivals Würzburg 04 four seasons. But that was in the late 70s. More a basketball town, germany´s most famous basketballer Dirk Nowitzki is from Würzburg. Think their fans have a friendship with those of FC Augsburg.
 
Managed to beat Dortmund as well. Fucking hell...

Stuttgart lost against Mainz at home and the whole situation escalated after the match with fans running on the pitch, coach and Großkreutz in tears in front of TV cameras.

Bremen only managed to draw with Cologne which means that next matchday will reveal who is going down and who will play relegation. Only teams left in the battle are Stuttgart, Frankfurt and Werder. We need one point in Bremen and we are safe. Stuttgart is in a pretty bad position as they need a win in Wolfsburg and they got a worse goal difference than us and Bremen. Stuttgart has been playing in the top flight for 41 years...

The team that was 4-0 up after 30 minutes against City last August?
Tbilisi and I still have nightmares about that return journey: Stuttgart-Munich-Manchester (via that renowned Bavarian suburb, Dusseldorf)

Bayern could have had more goals if the 3 or 4 wrong offside calls would not have been...

But you are right - Ingolstadt played well!

Pretty sure that RB Leipzig or actually "the product" or "Ratten Ball" ("Rat Ball") as they are refered to by other fans will receive a warm "welcome" by the Bundesliga fans.

There will be boycotts of the games, special anti RB events and their fans will get hunted if travelling etc. Basically the full treatment they already received in the 2.Bundesliga, just on a bigger scale.
 
Good for Leipzig to have Bundesliga Club. Big City Home of the first German Football Champion ever.

Judging by earlier comments over RB Leipzig, a lot of English posters would immediately accuse you of being a WUM.

However, after reading some articles this morning, it does appear that RB have huge potential, with their attendances rapidly increasing, and renewed talk of moving to a new stadium.
 
While we are at it: Rapid Vienna from Austria is the only club to be champion in Austria and Germany. They were German champions in the 40/41 season, beating Scheiße 04..erm Schalke 04 in the finals. :)

A fact not a lot of people seem to know! Gotta love football trivia...
