Slow, clumsy, poor distribution, passive. Has been known to put in a decent cross and hit a ball hard from a free kick but overall amazed he has been successful in his career choice.

I agree to a large extent but there is a good case for saying that other positions looked like they needed addressing first in recent transfer windows; although you can question how successfully those were addressed. The club needs to have a huge summer in the transfer market and I would put part of that down to past failings.
 
In Angelino and Maffeo we have better options imo already. Angelino today instead of Kolarov would have been a great option and Angelino isn't the greatest defender but he gives his all and that would have stopped two of the goals!
 
Ok I've tried to calm down a bit but I want one the Kolarov lovers to come on here and defend this piece of shit. He is quite simply one of the worst footballers I have ever seen and has got away with it because we needed to look at other areas of the team. Criminally neglecting the need to replace him. His performance today was unacceptable and whereas there were others who didn't perform alexander Kolarov should be ashamed by his lack of character, professionalism and his total lack of respect of our club. But hell he makes a good video at christmas- hard man my arse. I also blame a clueless manager for picking this fraud in front of well just about any other player in the squad. At least Kelechi showed some passion and talent. I can't wait for seasons end and if Kolarov stays beyond June 1st I will not be going, I feel that strongly about this matter.

Well I have been a Kolorov supporter in the past...
I can't explain nor defend his play today
It looked like he couldn't care
And you're completely correct about all the rest of your post
He should be a midfielder somewhere else
 
A 16 year old kid from the youths would have done a better job than that **** today he took the piss big time and he and everyone else knew it!
 
After his "effort" for their second goal I never want to see him put on our shirt again. A total disgrace to this club that was.
 
Absolutely woeful player - occasionally kicks the ball hard and accurate - which has fannys like M.Owen gushing.

He is the worst player to have played for City since the money came in - by a long way - and it is a disgrace that youth prospects are ignored over him when Clichy is out, at least they would try.
 
Up until last night, I've considered him to be somewhat limited but that was on another level altogether. The lack of commitment and utter petulance in that display were astounding. Whether he has the shits because he has been clearly dropped to second option behind Clichy or whether he simply doesn't care as he knows he is being shipped off I'm not sure. But for a professional footballer to be so utterly not bothered is a disgrace. I never want to see him in our shirt again. I'm not sure I've been more disgusted in a players lack of effort for City and after this season, that's saying something.
 
His squad number says it all. Madrid's no. 11 is Bale. Barca's no. 11 is Neymar. Bayern's no. 11 is Douglas Costa. City's no 11 is Kolarov fuck me. That says it all, the guy has never had any intention or capability to defend.

No-one can come back from a performance like that, after a season like this, at his age. Maybe suited to Italy again, but will not be seen of or heard from again, with the exception of an occasional free kick for Serbia or whoever else needs a left sided player with a left foot rocket and no defensive desire.

Has been hung out to dry more than a few times by Sterling, but can't overlook that performance or lack of desire. Mane started 20 yards behind him and might have done him in 30!
 
Kolarov is why city get the rap of being a team of mercenaries. No heart, doesn't give a fuck, and doesn't care about the team. Just utter shit
