That's the way I see itWe will win tomorrow and the shite will draw against West Ham meaning the Swansea game will be a dead rubber

Reading this thread makes me think that there are many who don't really have the backbone to follow City. Might I suggest they start watching Paris St Germain or Olympiakos
There are many of us who have followed City for decades and we have taken premonition to new levels. We have seen the inbuilt ability of those employed by the club to make an absolute balls up of a situation on many an occasion and because we are in this predicament right now has nothing to do with the fans 'lack of bottle'. Blame Pellegrini, Yaya, or whoever you choose but leave the fans out of it.Reading this thread makes me think that there are many who don't really have the backbone to follow City. Well its a good job I dont give a shit what you think.ive seen the good the bad & the very very shite off the club..Reading this thread makes me think that there are many who don't really have the backbone to follow City. Might I suggest they start watching Paris St Germain or Olympiakos
We're not. Need the rags to lose/draw on Tuesday or to beat Swansea on Sunday. If we beat Arsenal, we are in.
Blind optimism equates to having a backbone now then? The simple truth is we are yet to beat a top side all season and now have to beat one tomorrow. All evidence suggests that isn't likely to happen.Reading this thread makes me think that there are many who don't really have the backbone to follow City. Posts like the one you quoted are the ridiculous ones. I mean proper cringy shite of the highest order. It's like they expect us to blindly support and not pay attention to what's actually happening on the pitch. Just be happy because it's City. Well fuck that for a game of soldiers. I have expectations and if we fall well short of them then I'll have a fucking moan, not shrug my shoulders and be grateful. What a ridiculous post.
A lot of us were following City in the fucking 3rd division. Then, we watched shite & knew we were shite. Right now we are watching people who have no right to be shite.
That's the difference
Arsenal is as rubbush as we are these days. Acting like we are certainly going to lose is kinda silly mates.
MP knows his legacy relies on this one, its his last home match, we will come out breathing fire and play with pace and heart.
Not saying itll be enough, but we wont be out there looking like shiite or give another half arsed effort. The players have been hearing the media and fans all week, and will want to prove everyone wrong. Never underestimate the "we are under dogs" mentality
Mathematically we are not, but I'm sure the rags won't win out. The only way they win out is if we don't beat Arsenal. The they'll be motivated. Best Arsenal tmrw, and the rags will end up 6th. As they'll lose to West Ham and probably tie on Tuesday. Lose or tie against Arsenal, and it gives them the motivation to push through. We're not. Need the rags to lose/draw on Tuesday or to beat Swansea on Sunday.
Totally agree mateMathematically we are not, but I'm sure the rags won't win out. The only way they win out is if we don't beat Arsenal. The they'll be motivated. In my mind if we win tmrw, we are in.
Diffence BTW us and Chelsea. First 5 games :)Honestly, I've not seen us play consistently as badly as we are doing since Pearce was in charge. I am not at all optimistic we will get anything tomorrow. Quite honestly, it's staggering we are 4th. If we hadn't started the season with 5 straight wins, we'd be half way down the table an deservedly so.
Fuck off with your "Bigger Blue" shit.Reading this thread makes me think that there are many who don't really have the backbone to follow City. Might I suggest they start watching Paris St Germain or Olympiakos
If our shiteness was entirely down to lack of effort, then I might draw some comfort from what you say. Yes, we will probably try quite hard tomorrow.
Unfortunately however, I don't think that lack of effort has much to do with how crap we are playing. Of course, it plays a part and Kolarov's strolling about on Wednesday, for example, did us no favours. But that's not why we lost.
We lost, because they way we play usually, is shite. We are too slow, too passive, we pass the ball around pointlessly and endlessly in front of 11 defenders, no-one runs in behind, an then we give the ball away. We then survive, or often not, a fast dynamic and direct break from the opposition, waltzing throw our midfield and through on our goal. We eventually get the ball back, or pick it out of net, and then we repeat our bore-fest tactics until we give the ball away again.
Occasionally, moments of individual brilliance save us. And sometimes if the opposition are crap, we may break through. But if they are not, we rarely do, and we usually succumb to them on the break if they have quality.
We can expect this tomorrow I think. We'll huff and puff but ultimately create very little and they will hurt us at our end.
I am just hoping West Ham will beat the scum.

Swansea really getting into form just in time for us playing them. Could be taking 0 points from the last 2 games at this rate.
I really hope you do and shove it in my face. Just can't see it happening though. Our record against the top sides is appalling and I expect a match not unlike the derby at home. Utter shite until a small breakthrough from the opposition. Will bump that - cheers
