The battle for 4th place

No need to apologise, I have had rags in my family taking the piss, for years. Do yo remember the sponsor EIDOS, "eleven idiots dreaming of success" I had to put up with, so bollocks to the rags, we are of sterner stuff.

Yep your right
You should give the team talk tomorrow :)

Worse bashing of our team than the rags some of you guys... meanwhile United scrape a 1-0 win at Norwich, they are hardly flying... have some balls. West Ham lost today they will want to put that right at home against the rags on Tuesday(why are they playing on a Tuesday?).

Simple fact is , its in our hands , we win 2 games , we finish third , but this team is well past its sell by date , and the hunger and passion has faded as the team has aged , Pellegrini maybe a good technical coach , but i believe he is clueless at motivating a football team .It would be galling to see the Rags and Dippers who have been derided by a lot of our supporters , playing Champs league next season , whilst we are slogging it out on a Thursday night in the Europa league , but it is now looking very likely , i just do not think our players care enough anymore.Although i would have thought there would be a financial bonus if they qualify for the top four ,maybe this might motivate them, at least then , if we do succeed , they could spend their winnings at their local Ferrari/Lamborghini showroom and buy some distastefully coloured supercar.

Remind me again, how did we get on at Norwich?
0-0 we had a lot more to focus on... still doesn't change my point that's not a convincing scoreline and it took them over 70mins.

As everyone keeps saying a win and not only could 4th be safe by Tuesday night but we could get that nice comfy 3rd place spot.

Just to happy clap for a minute. If RM could only manage one goal in 180mins then we should be able to keep arse out for 90. Kun is due a good game, and nacho should get one. Arse are classic bottlers and not exactly tearing up trees themselves since Xmas either, and we're at home.

We aren't winning tomorrow so it all depends whether United drop more points than us in the final two games

I don't trust Pellegrini and will be delighted to see the back of him, had we stayed with Mancini we would have been talking dynasty instead we are scrambling for top 4. I expect we will get beat tomorrow and miss top 4, he will play YaYa who has been on holiday for months before Iheanacheo who is our future! We haven't beaten a team in top 8 all season so why would I be optimistic?

we haven't, not good enough! Not beaten a team in top 8: Leicester, Spurs, Arsenal?, United, West Ham, Liverpool or Southampton

We have to win tomorrow and then hope West Ham do us a favour or if not win at Swansea.

Winning both games is the classy way to do it though and finish third it would be a bit hollow to fall into fourth any other way.

MP and the players owe us two wins , its the least the team can do for a very poor effort and salvage a bit of pride.

Most of this squad will be shipped out over the next three windows and struggle to get into teams that will be getting beyond the knock out stage of Chumps League and in some cases never play in that comp again.

True True! Plus happy clappers is just a made up term by those who don't want us to spoil their mourning parties where they revel in despair, tears and pass the fanny wipes around... "the end is coming you know!" I know which attitude I'm happier with anyway. :)

Yeah I forgot to mention winning at Swansea so not actually safe but I fancy us to win that one. :)

Agreed with your other points too, they need to show some steel in both games that's what we've been crying out for, show the other team who wants it more, boss them.

But the cunts won :(

On the plus side a lot of the parasites should not be playing and although I would not expect a performance from the players, for the fans, their own self-interest (playing in the champs lge, possibly bonuses) may even motivate them some what.

Backing the players in 2013 has backfired spectacularly.
