Is it ever acceptable to boo players?

I can understand booing a performance, although i wouldnt personally. But why the fuck do people moan about bony not trying and being shit when they are fucking booing him? Pathetic.

I generally choose not to boo but i can kind of understand booing at the end of the match but to boo a player before he's even come on is fucking disgraceful. Forget everybody fucking off at the final whistle. Booing Bony coming on was the most pathetic thing i've seen from our fans. Was something i'd expect from Arsenal. What's it going to achieve? He's coming on, booing him isn't going to change that and isn't likely to give him any confidence is it?

I turned to my brother and said "these twats will be singing his name if he goes on to score now" Regardless of opinions on their ability, unless the guy has done a Tevez or something of that nature there's just no excuse for booing a guy onto the pitch.

Done a Tevez as in refused to come on and went on strike. If a player doesn't something of that nature off the pitch you can maybe understand booing a player then. In no way was i comparing them as players.

Whilst he's still a City player, nobody deserves to be boo'd on to the pitch. He was an inch away from getting us a winner, would he of deserved to be boo'd on if that had gone in?
